Yeah great trip, I think around 1300 miles total. The drive wasn't bad except driving through CT at rush hour tonight. Also, picked up a few beers I'll share of course

I'm not gonna be able to make it tomorrow. Wife has the flu, daughter has something else but shes pretty miserable so I'll be hanging out at home tomorrow. Pretty lame to bail on a trip thread I started but probably not a good idea for me to come hang out after wiping her nose all night

Those glades opened up to an intermediate trail. Deep untracked powder on the skiers right side. Hike back to the lift sucks but well worth it

Mittersill glades (idiot's delight and candy land). Also a t bar ride and the race course which had nice snow

Mittersill is much better than the front side. Had to take 2 lifts to the summit, down an intermediate and then hike up this trail in the second pic Visibility from the summit in first pic

Don't knock it till you've tried it. Pierogies are good, plenty of varieties. Maybe I'll bring some to Blue

Try mom and pops pierogies in wilkes barre for stuff to go, pierogies, kielbasa, stuffed cabbage. If you're there after 4PM, breaker brewing is like 2 minutes away

Cannon...seems pretty cool but its pretty slick and windblown as of right now, visibility not great. Lower stuff isn't too bad, bumps are soft. Heading over to the mittersill side in a bit. Supposed to be some fun glades that I'm hoping will have good snow

Unfortunately I may have to bail on Montage day. Wife and kid are both pretty sick. I'm driving home from NH this afternoon, was going to drive to montage tonight and stay somewhere. Hopefully things will improve and I can make it tomorrow morning but we'll see

Awesome. Glad you caught a run on the snow cat. That and the stuff off of lift 9 was my favorite area at Loveland.

Nice. Check out Outer Range Brewing in Frisco if you get a chance, really good beers. Bakers Brewery in Silverthorne had great food but beer wasn't anything special. Also Pho Bay in Silverthorne is good.

Yeah so my original plan was Magic Saturday, either Magic or Waterville valley Sunday and cannon Monday. After magic got ice instead of snow, my plans changed and Waterville looks like pretty much all groomers so I hit Bolton Valley instead. Whiteface and Bolton were both awesome so no complaints. Drove by cannon tonight and that looks great too. At least drive to Cannon tomorrow is like 10 minutes. The drive from Whiteface to Brattleboro sucked though

Then I went back to the base area and took the quad up...took cobrass trail over to timberline lift. I think that was all natural snow so some rocks and stuff to avoid. Great views too. Ended my day with a few runs down Tattle tale, which was relatively steep but great snow, followed by a run down the trees next to it, think it was called Lost Boyz glades

Yeah those were off of Wilderness. The ones off the timberline lift were great too. They got a ton of snow the past few days

Hit a buried sapling and came to a dead stop on one of the lower tree runs. My snowboard is somewhere under the snow in the second pic. Made me laugh and probably looked like an idiot

Got to bolton valley around 10. Had to take the shuttle from the lower lot to get my ticket at the base area. Still no one here though. This place is awesome. Glades and random lines through the trees everywhere and tons of powder

They were closed. I ate dinner around 8, they closed at 7

Found a picture of Toast in a beer magazine I picked up Stopped at Paradox brewery after Whiteface for a flight, pretty good beers...dinner at Whetstone brewery in Brattleboro last night. No pics...food was good, beer sucked (to be fair I only had their IPA.) Probably heading to Bolton valley in a bit.
