  1. Snowboarders are the worst. But really, I don't care if a few mountains dont allow boarders. Back when I was into BMX biking, bikes were banned from a lot of skate parks so I'm used to it. As long as I don't get banned from drinking beer with skiers in the Blue Mountain parking lot, I'm good
  2. Have you been to Laurel Mountain? It's a bit past Blue knob but seems like it would be fun. If you need a buddy pass for Blue, i usually don't use mine
  3. 24th should work for me unless something changes at work
  4. It's actually going to go through the pond. Mandatory pond skimming
  5. As long as it's not a crazy week at work, I'd be in for a Montage day. Monday through Wednesday is $40 lift tickets. Fridays you can rent out one of the tents at Midland for free although there are plenty of other places to sit too. I have 2 Montage tickets I got for half price if anyone needs them for the PASR day, I think they were 40 each
  6. Nice report. I always try to hit Montage for my 2 indy days. It never gets crowded and their terrain and various bars are pretty fun. I've found the same conditions off of the long haul lift, seems icier on Fast Track and Runaway. Not sure if you hit Rattler but taking that to Cannonball is one of my favorite runs there
  7. Yeah conditions weren't that great today...beers in the lot were great though as always. I had my one board getting sharpened and waxed this morning and rode another board that hasn't been tuned in probably 2 years. Dull edges were interesting with today's icy conditions.
  8. Yeah Jay was on wind hold a lot last week, which is why I opted for Bolton instead
  9. @mbike-ski, have fun at Jay! They have been getting a ton of snow. if you have an extra day, hit Bolton Valley too.
  10. Got my new boots from Burton yesterday. They even gave me expedited shipping. Sending my jacket back to Picture tomorrow, they'll repair or replace it. Pretty happy my broken gear from last week is getting taken care of at no cost to me
  11. Bummer about Jim's injury. Yes, pics are important
  12. Planning on one of the days
  13. Fly shawty boo with nice hair in the lift line...you talking about @Dirtwolf??
  14. Stowe, Bolton, and Jay were getting a good bit of snow in the past week and I think more on the way. The crowds in town in Stowe were a mess but you should have fun. Maybe not as rad as Camelsack though
  15. Day 6 and final day of my trip...stayed in southern NY last night and drove to Shawnee this morning. Conditions were actually really fun. Fast firm corduroy...light rain but much warmer than the past week up north. Mostly did the blue/black trails near the lift, but Renegade was great so I skated over there 5 times. No lift lines and being a smaller mountain, the high speed quad gets you to the top pretty quickly. Now at Shawnee craft brewing...nitro porter, pale ale, and a cheesesteak pizza.
  16. Drive through the Delaware water gap area this morning had some slick spots also
  17. Got done riding shortly before 2...grabbed a beer from the car and back to the lodge for some pork belly and tuna onigiri and a Japanese coffee. Then headed to Burton headquarters in Burlington. Stopped at the retail store, who sent me to the repair shop next door. Chatted with the guy there for a bit, but after looking around their website, I already knew the boots were out of warranty. He told me to file an online warranty claim anyway and give him the details. I played with the shop dogs while I waited...he came back 5 minutes later and said a pair of boots is being shipped free of charge. HUGE mf'n shout out to Burton for being awesome. Then stopped at Foam brewers for a few beers. Took a walk along the marina along lake Champlain and getting dinner at Burlington beer now
  18. Yeah...I went for a walk along lake Champlain and couldn't feel my face. I'm heading back south tonight, but since I was stopping at Burton, I figured I'd hang out a bit
  19. The bison above you is impressed with your mouth hole. I'm currently hanging out in your old stomping grounds, Burlington
  20. I hope you can handle the incoming load Looking forward to the powder pics
  21. After a quick stop at the lodge, I did Vista glades again. Some fun drops in there and deep snow. Then back to the top and did Cobrass to Five Corners, which had some nice snow. Up Timberline to Adam's Solitude, which was a fun glade...nice wind lip at the top to jump off, and a few cliffs (didnt do those). The runout is actually pretty fun, single track with a good enough pitch to avoid getting stuck in the deeper snow. Did Doug's woods twice after that. Really fun glades, hit some small drops. Also did Spellbinder twice, steeper bumps at the top and mellow powder field at the bottom. Show off under the lift was a fun intermediate that still had some powder. Did Adam's Solitude again and launched the wind lip at bit too fast and ate it...after that, I decided it was time to head back to the Vista side. Did a groomer down to the beginner double and hit a green trail with good powder but too mellow of a pitch as expected
  22. If the restaurant at the top is cameltop, does that mean the base is the cameltoe?
