  1. Wow I normally wouldn't do middle seat but it would be legendary to sit between two PASR legends. Hypothetically if I was on a United 737 from JAC to EWR there's a chance I may pay a few bucks extra for that coveted middle seat.

Salty wants to get handy and practice his "pole planting" techniques in between Jeff and Doug.

  2. Given that helmets are supposed to be good only for one impact, using a rental helmet really gives a false sense of security and I am surprised they rent them at all (which could lead to liability if they do not test that they are still good after each rental return).

Better practice would be to buy then in bulk and offer to sell new ones to renters at a small markup over wholesale.

This depends on the type of helmet as well. (The type I'd personally purchase is only designed for one impact, although this is not the only case)

  3. You aren’t wrong here, a lot of people HATED gritty when he was first announced, the love for him didn’t start to flow until after people from outside of the Philadelphia area started making fun of him.

Gritty is the Phanatics crackhead cousin from Delco.
I have no choice but to love him.
He's a complete and total shitshow.....it's so perfect.
At first I was like wtf, I thought Phang was bad....than he fell on the ice that first night like a hot mess.
    Love Gritty

  4. Awesome Day.....and for less than I regularly pay for a 4 pack.

    Great Spring conditions
    Great food.
    Great brew.
    Great crew.

Stellar day of skiing in Pa.

Had my first fall of the season and in true Phillycore form it didn't disappoint.
Took a lip at a bad angle heading into the trees.
I tried to change directions about 3' in the air from what I was told apparently my ski didn't like that as it made quite the bomb hole on a groomed run.
Sent me sliding at mach looney into and through the safety fence until I scorpioned onto the big metal post that it was attached to at the end.
Was one of those that I'd have liked to see video on as I got wrecked.
It's also one of those times when being fat actually might have helped pad that impact. My wrist hurts the most probably as I used it to try and self arrest along with digging anything I could into the snow without much success. Trying to slow my fatass down is like stopping a Mack truck loaded with sand.

As we all know...it's all good in this sport when you can get up and keep skiing.

  5. I actually have quads of steel so they’re feeling okay. My right calf needs a little stretching and pooped in general but I’ll bounce back once it’s time to hit the dance flo’ at the cowboy bar.

Ask Doug about dance floor injuries at JH I seem to recall that he may have insider information.
