I'll contribute toward a "No Parking" sign for you.

That would be a very crowded jacket. . .

I never lost faith. Camelback always delivers on their promises. Can't wait for this Saturday and Sunday.
-
You are unbelievable. You don't get to pick and choose who brings you down, whether or not they are riding a board or skiing, what brand skis or board they are using, whether they are wearing goggles or sunglasses. You can refuse treatment. That is a wish that you are entitled to make.
-
my bad, how's this. Again, you say it best. I think that you would have to poll the patrollers who do both. I don't see how active members here who are not patrollers would have any basis for favoring one over the other. Just because you know alot about skiing and snowboarding doesn't mean you know anything about being a ski patroller. It's just like when snowboarding started. How many resorts did not allow snowboarding. How many allow snowboarding today. How many snowboarding patrollers were there 10 years ago compared to today. In all likelihood, there will continue to be an increase in the number of snowboarding patrollers in the future. You made the statement that "Snowboarders make awful patrollers when compared to skiers." You got called on it. Leave the patrollers alone. Pick on the Rangers.
-
You don't know. That's easy, it's your sense of entitlement; the point of this whole thread.
-
That's quite a statement. What is your basis for it? I've seen snowboarding patrollers and I certainly wouldn't turn them away if I was hurt. I haven't seen that. I know several snowboarding patrollers and have seen them pull sleds. They made it look pretty easy, especially in the piled up sugar. Are you speaking from your personal experience?
-
. . . and you wonder why you are viewed as big-time whiners.
-
No one judged you. A comment was made about a statement that was included in a post. You say "everyone who has commented" has made judgements that don't relate to all people who like to ride park. Do you really mean "everyone"? I'm sure there are some who have made those judgements, just like I am sure there are some park rats who have the selfish, obnoxious, whinney, me-first behavior.
-
Here's a refresher for you genius. The really good skiers/riders run the left side of freeway. Do that on the 31st.
-
You seem to be suggesting that the ecomonic impact on the survival of the resorts justifies the "park-rats" selfish, obnoxious, whinney, me-first behavior. There is no excuse for that.
-
Try progressing to the point that you can do each of those black/double blacks in the area over and over riding switch.

Great post ben. Some of us choose to be patient and enjoy the trails that we do get to ski/ride. Sure we wish there were more but we realize all the bitching and complaining in the world will not change the facts of the weather, or the water supply, or the system's capacity, or things that we are not privileged to know about. Many who post seem to write as though there is some personal vendetta that CB has against them. Ah, to believe that one is so important. What a burden that must be. How easily they forget that CB was 100 % open last year on Christmas Eve. Are we to believe that CB chose to be good to the customer last year but this year had a change of heart. Entitlement. Here's what we are entitled to; to choose whether or not we want to pay for a lift ticket to ski/ride at the resort. Too many people think it is about so much more. I will be there maybe Saturday, definitely Sunday, enjoying every single run I take regardless of whether or not it is groomed to perfection or scraped down to the hard-pack. Either one is better than sitting at home.

I like the fact that at least two of their parking lots are paved. I like the fact that the tubing park is seperated from the ski slopes and that they didn't decrease ski terrain to put in the tubing. The view from the top of the Stephenson Lift at night is pretty nice.

The soups in the cafeteria are top-notch.

The decks in front of the lodge are nice. Plenty of tables; a great place on a sunny day to catch the sights. Best of all, it's first come, first served . . . no reserved tables.
-
Well you aren't blind because you can see how far it is from where you park to the lodge . . . so . . . given the choices that you list . . . you must be really stupid. I can agree with your admission.

hook, line, and sinker. Gag away big boy.

Could be that they were following a regular poster here who is a real "turkey". They recognize their own kind.
-
I think it is great that Camelback does not have reserved parking. That way it is first come - first served. It is great that they also run shuttle buses for those who have to get their beauty sleep and end up in the lower lots. Talk about customer service.
-
k2fujative and papasteeze, "Camelback this saturday, Who's gona be there??" way to keep on topic.
-
You forgot to mention that you got a parking space in the front row.
-
Good one. Can't wait for the release of Marjie's delights.

Anyone hear why they were only allowing 3 people per chair on the Sullivan lift on Sunday. I heard a couple of possibilities from a sensor problem to limiting the number of skiers on the limited trails that are open.
