Well, there was a fair crowd at times at the new lift.
It's a pretty poor layout, having the readers so close to the lift.  Whomever designed that wasn't too swift.
When it was crowded, the attendants were "attempting" to group people who were already in the two-person grouping lines.  It was a cluster and nobody was listening to them when they would try to get people to fill up chairs at that point, yelling at them to "GO! Fill up the chair!"
They also put the SP trailer too close to the readers, so there's no real way to expand the reader lines, so they put up a fence which screws up that entire area.
It's like they didn't even give any thought whatsoever as to how it was going to work or include any ideas from anyone who actually uses the lifts.

Yup. theyre going to have to make some changes to the layout.

FWIW, the readers at the new lift work incredibly well.

    Truth!

I wasn't up this past weekend to see how it fared... but the corral is rather small at the new lift. How is that going to play out during peak hours?

I believe just a wax is about $25 or so.  If they’re not busy turnaround could be enough time for you to get a vanilla latte.  If it’s busy maybe an hour.  I need a full tune..wax..sharpen and base grind before Jackson hole.  90% of the time I ski at Blue wax is irrelevant but today it would have made a difference on the flats.  On razors and Main Street plenty of speed I wish a bit more hill sometimes lol

Oh really?! I thought it was a couple day turn around. Thanks.

  4. I actually thought conditions were pretty good for a night sesh. Just slow and sticky, was it like this for anybody else? Maybe I just need to get my board waxed.

What’s the cost and turnaround for a wax at the pro shop?

At mount snow you can get a quick wax done in literally like 20 minutes. It’s pretty sweet tbh.

Based on the forecast I'm really hoping they focus on resurfacing what's open. i sure as shit hope they don't waste the marginal temps on the ridiculous amount of snow the nmdw park requires. Put that on hold at this point (sorry @antman12)

I agree! And doubt they will.

Camera's are the biggest boomer idea ever, plus anyone who spends time at blue knows they wouldn't work long.

Funnel is the answer, make it a game and even when they miss at least it’s close.

And add a second one halfway up.

Last week i rode the lift with some loud British woman with her freind, and overheard her say it was disgusting and it really made me think that it is pretty sad that we (as patrons of Blue) just assume its ok to do, and that someone else will clean it up.  Thats kinda fucked up.  i dont get how people are able to carry the beers full in thier pockets, but once they are empty they can no longer carry them.

carry them......for an extra 3 minutes to throw it into the trash can at the top. SMH.

I still dont understand why they took the big trashcan at the top on sidewinder away.
