  1. If you look at the top set of 3 rails in lower black bear it's kind of staggered in a irregular way. Underneath all that snow is a dirt swale for drainage so we used that as a natural downslope rather than making an entire tier out of snow we didn't have. When we get enough snow to make the normal tiers completely out of snow they will all be lined up nice and pretty for you guys.
  2. "They" hate money and don't want you to have fun. "They" hate snow and were probably on the grassy knoll too.
  3. Just left a little bit ago and it was sleeting. Coming out of the grocery store it was raining though..
  4. I like when you itemize your gripes with BC. It's way easier to shoot them down in a list form rather than try to recollect all the ridiculous stuff you say throughout a whole thread. - Pinnacles lease was up and as a business and owner of the retail space, BC decided to assume that portion of the resort as their own. From what I understand a good portion of Pinnacles remaining inventory was purchased by BC to get the new shop up and running. It's not like they were left out on the street like you're implying. - Franco? Please. Stop being a child. We know he's your buddy. If the friendly cashier lady at Wawa was let go for one reason or another that doesn't mean I'm going to talk trash on the internet all day long and stop going to Wawa. - Your race team is gone. It's time to let go... I remember when my trumpet lessons in elementary school were scrapped because the teacher left the distrcit.. know what I did? I MOVED ON. - Not really sure what happened with Helen but i do know this.. after Helen was let go it took a few months for the whole entire resort to get back to normal operations and back on track but BC has overcome some tough obstacles in past and I think they'll be fine moving forward. - Several culinary groups? There was BCG and Centerplate. The only thing worthwhile back then was the original clam chowder bread bowls and buffalo chicken cheesesteaks. Everything else is pretty much unchanged. - "pissed off numerous department heads" ... seriously? go take a lap dude...you have no idea what you're talking about. I would love for you to elaborate on this subject. - Pretty sure michelle was gone before the race team got the boot. In closure, I'd like to quote a verse from the gospel of Mark in the Bible of Bear Creek Management. Mark - Chapter 12, Verse 1 And Mark said unto Brad; "Brad, I want you to make snow at every available opportunity." Brad willingly complied and has made snow at every available opportunity.
  5. There ya go! Brand new 4'x20' box.
  6. PASR exclusive!!21!11!!!!! I'm working on a replacement for the 4x20 box right now. It was too beat up to even fix by the time I got around to it last summer so that's why it sat out last season. After that I'm on to some more curvy/wavy features. I'll put pics up on the facespace as I finish stuff.
  7. trolololololololololololololololo
  8. Can't tell if you're trolling or not lol. In case you aren't... We've been planning that Cascade build for the better part of a week once we saw the cold temps rolling in for this past weekend. Rarely will we do a build below 25 degrees because chances are they're making more snow that we know what to do with at the moment. We like to wait until after a snowmaking window so that we have the most to work with. Unless it's for an event we don't do builds on the weekends. Weekends are when we see the most traffic so we like to have the parks dialed in as best they can be by then. I seriously can't say this enough though.... as much as we try and keep on top of everything, conditions change rapidly. If you guys see something that needs work, please tell us!!!
  9. It's an average dood. It's defintiely not 6" either. A cat couldn't even turn around in 6" of snow without churning up dirt.
  10. Honestly... cascade might be only rails by the weekend. It will still be fun though.
  11. Indeed. We've had a lot of requests for smaller jumps and since we're working with a base of about 12" in the family park the only place to put them is in Black Bear.
  12. I really hope we can get some snow made soon. We need to switch up the parks!!!!
  13. Sooooo... We're going to be doing a lil build on Cascade tomorrow if anyone wants to talk about that... We're going to try and switch up a few things on Black Bear tomorrow morning and then head over to Cascade for the day. Not sure how much we're going to be able to do over there but we're going to see if we can get at least a line of rails and then something set up in the jump line.
  14. We're waiting on some vinyls. I think you guys will like it
  15. I don't think I've ever set up a flat down like that... I know we've done a dual lip on one but not like that. That just looks like a waste of a flat down to me.
  16. Pretty much what Kyle said... figured we'd get a medium sized table top up for the weekend. But all in all a pretty basic setup for now. Once we can get the trails all dozed out the way we want em we'll start adding more stuff. I think we're going to hold off on Cascade until we see what this goofy weather is going to do. Solid blowing temps are still a week off...We still need a whole lot of snow over there to start building and I'd hate to lose what we already have if we start moving it around too much.
  17. Not tonight. We're going to wait until the snowmakers are done burying us before we put anything else out. We've had the guns on non stop since Monday night. Friday morning we'll have some new stuff out.
  18. There's a possibility we'll have B chair open by Tuesday. FYI to all. Tuesday will probably be round the clock snowmaking. We haven't done that in a while so come prepared with the face mask and some goggle wipes.
  19. I saw some fb pics of them unloading some planet features... how many did they get? I haven't been there since I was like 14. Kinda curious to check it out!
  20. Probably lost most of what was made this past weekend. Tonight's low looks decent but the problem is going to be the wind. Right now we're looking at 40+mph gusts...
  21. Here's a short edit to hold you guys over.
  22. True. We had most of the mountain open for a little while at least. Oh well.
