  13. I guess this is more of a mid-morning report rather than dawn patrol, but I still wanted to keep you up-to-date with todays conditions. Quote from GrilledSteezeSandwich: I can't wait until tomorrows dawn patrol...will Craig at Camelback see his shadow and will he be a rebel and mix hot chocolate with his coffee...we'll see tomorrow at 7:00AM Craig just returned from Gobblers Knob, where he did not see his shadow- meaning only 6 more weeks of winter. Just kidding - but the groundhog did not see his shadow. Let's all hope he is wrong and winter is not coming to a close anytime soon. Anyways- back to mid-morning patrol. 31 trails and 6 lifts are open today, including the Oak Grove Halfpipe and the Laurel Glade Terrain Park (5 rails, 2 hits). 16. Thanks for the recognition- I really appreciate it. I also want to thank all of you from the Camelback Message Board for your patience with our attempts to block the spam we were getting. Sorry we had to shut it down with such short notice, it was just not working out for us. We both (myself and Craig) try to keep you all as up to date as possible with conditions, snowmaking, and promotions going on at Camelback. It is really nice to hear some appreciation from you. Have a great weekend!
  17. Every non-holiday Wednesday, all ladies can receive a day lift ticket and meal voucher valid for a Caesar salad and fountain drink at the East Side Bistro for only $41.00! The new Ladies Day package can be purchased online at www.skicamelback.com or at any open ticket window upon arrival.

The pros will go over general techniques and critique your skiing/riding. Did anybody go with a pro last season? What did you think?
  19. Sorry- SkiCB is out of the office today, so no dawn report. We plan to have the Stevenson Express open first thing tomorrow. Dont forget that you will need your advanced park pass for the Oak Grove Halfpipe. You can get your pass at the top of Rhodo now. We plan to have the Rhodo Park open by February 3.

  23. The High Performance skis that the Camelback Rental Shop is selling are well worth $125 per pair. We would not be selling them if they were not worth the asking price. Everyone who has come to look at them has bought a pair. They are in great condition cosmetically. They have a lot of life left on the base. The skis all have Salomon S7-11 and S712 bindings on them with an indicator range from 4.0-10.0. Keep in mind that they are High Performance rental skis and these do not go out nearly as often as regular rental skis. The High Performance rental skis are waxed and sharpened more often throughout the winter as well. Some pairs that are still available for sale did not go out at all this past winter season. Before making judgement based on what is being said on this board, you may want to come up and check them out for yourself. The Rental Shop is open from 8am-4pm Monday-Friday, or you can call 570-629-1661 ext. 2252 for more information.
  24. Thanks for the welcome- we began grooming at the Snowtubing Park and the Halfpipe today- check out the daily pics from today to see our groomers in action! http://www.skicamelback.com/?nav=content_dailypics
