I think its just like the parks. They probobly feel for insurance reasons they shouldnt have a bump run, and since their market is the NY crowd, who no offense inteded general has no clue what is going, the are a lot more likely to find a way into a law suit for n00bs being on traills they shouldnt be. Still it sux the rest of us have to suffer cos some morons are law suit happy, and morons when it comes to common sense.

Snow boarders do damage, cut skiiers do as well when they pizza wedge down blacks. They whole thing about a dedicated run is it keeps the bumps big all the time as opposed to having to wait for a trail to get used enough for the bumps to be worth while.

We drove by last night and didnt see anything, although, I'm not sure which side the moutain was on. We were north of it.

Yeah, I can't imagine that what Blue blew (hehe) will amount to nothing by the end of the week. I wish CB was more dedicated to the sport rather than the money Oh well, what are you going to do right?

I got snow . Most of it melted, there like a half inch left now... prolly less, it started raining and everything got nasty. Right now the roads are getting slushy/icey. Its so wonderful.

By bumps they mean mogals, large bumps in a somewhat regular fashion (repeatedly occuring in some kinda of pattern). There are a few scattered about cliffy, but they groom too often to let them develop into full sized mogals.

The "natural" bumps weren't that big ever, I dont think its really what the bump skiiers were looking for. Although every once in a while, big pocono gets some nice sized bumps, and nicely spaced too, I imagine they would be fun. Then again I'm not a skiier so what do I know right?

It's definately do-able, but I dont know if they want to spend the time/resources to take care of bumps. Plus, they dont have that much trail real estate to start with, I dont know if they would want to give up a trial to bumps. Cliffhangor could be done if they only did half of it though.

Nothing about thems seems right, to me it would totally throw off your sense of finding the balance point in a skate stop, and carving would get fowled up. Just sounds like a bad idea all around.

Fianlly snow, so pumped. Sweet little vid, Didn't know you could get by with so little snow. Anyways, now we just have to wait for the 2 ft dump

Yeah sounds like a bad idea all around. I cn only imagine those things sinking in and not moving, plus, you hit someone with one of those bad boys, and you turn what would have been a bad accident into, a bad accident with lots of sharp teeth involved.

I'd be pumped if they were they beat out CB, Blue, etc to be open. I'd def take a trip up there to ride for the first day!!!

It wouldnt be that bad, I'd hit it and I'm not super great at park stuff. And to make it more stable really wouldnt take much money either. A couple of 2x4's in the back, running up the plywood, and at the top some more coming staight down, and connecting at the bottom. In essence 2x4 triangels supporting it, it would def be pretty solid then.

Do they even blow? I heard they get enough natural snowfall they dont need to blow, but I could be totally wrong. Either way I'm heading up there a couple of times this year, supposed to be a really nice mountain.

Well its good news none the less, with today's snow, I'm hoping the trend is for colder and colder weather. (Yeah, I know I could check what the weather men are saying but they are guessing just like the rest of us).
