Yeah, I don't know how the marketing person is that pointed the cam at the sign but they should be fired . Anyways, looks like CB is yet again the weaker of the mountains in the area :-/.

I've used both and the strap ins are so much more responsive. They also feel much more... secure maybe. You definately feel one with the board, whereas with the step ins it feels like your boots are one with the board, and its a little sloppier. Then again that was rental equipment, so getting better stuff may make a difference.

Yeah, I'm building mine with metal, I figure it will last longer, and I don't have a second board I can detune. Plus, despite the fact that it is my yard, my home mt is CB so, it will be just as good, if not better than anything they have. But maybe if I get a bunch of rails, I may do a pvc rail.

I say, plastic strap. Is there really any question between step in and strap in anyways? But yeah, I havent had any integrity (sp?) issues with my plastic ones, and they are a lot lighter than the same model in metal.

Good idea on the random stuff. I was thinking about builiding a couple massive snowballs, like the ones you make for snowmen, and then shaping them, but random stuff would def work better.

Actually what I said was the pipe was widened, putting it in passive voice, so the widening was being done to the pipe, not the pipe doing the widening.

Well, arguably, this was done because the halfpipe was widened, and the wouldnt have room for everything. What this measns, potentially is less room for jumps, which would suck, because they had a pretty limited number late year, and most of what they did have sucked.

Oh, I dont know, its doable, if it gets cold by thurs, and stays cold, like its supposed to. Of coarse they won't have much open, but there is always hope.
