I considered going this morning, but I really needed to shop for boots.

Nope. Grad school. Either way Arizona is home way from home at this point. Just home at some point
I do like Az a lot. Just worry about the water situation there. If my kid still lived there, I’d definitely consider it.

Is there no free parking at Camelback? I have an Ikon pass, tried to find out what I needed to do to ski there. No info on their website. Chat Bot is useless.

Weather not looking great until next week. 😡

Looked into a day trip to Roundtop. Have a family member out there. 85$ to ski a random Thursday??!! Are they crazy?

I’ve only been to NH to ski once , and Cannon was closed. Are you going to Wildcat? That’s a fun mountain. Hopefully Epic didn’t wreck it.

Today was fun, fun, fun, fun, fun. Snow was great, great company, no crowds. And our skis didn’t wiggle wiggle. They giggle giggled.

Figured out what was giving me problems with my bindings. Was actually my boots! Watched the video posted on here- everything looked as it should be. Husband then looked at my boot heels. They are in some sad shape from wearing them in the lot, plus I have about 6 seasons on them. Bottom of heel was so curled up from walking in them, they were getting caught on the brakes! He shaved it off, I had no problem yesterday. Called Buckmans 2-4 weeks for new heel pieces. Not sure it’s worth it. Maybe time for new boots

I’ve had an Ikon pass multiple years now, and I do like it. But we’re talking about going to a couple mountains next season that aren’t on any mega pass.

He said he’d try snowshoes. Maybe I’ll need to compromise.

I gotta be feeling extra itchy to even come out and deal with the weekends.
Same. I like the weekends late season. Soft snow, no lines, and fun parking lot.

Group included an instructor and kids, they got lynched by the fb mob jury. Would love to know the real story, if it was a simple mistake or major dumbassedness...
An instructor from Killington ski area?

Geez lines out the gates by 11. Times have changed
Yeah, I miss the days of skiing right on to the lift. Today was a beautiful day, though. Lines not bad, and VIP lines were open.

Those SAR people are tough and knowledgeable. I have a lot of respect for them. I thought I read awhile back there is a charge for their services in Vt now.

They should have been making snow on it and Switchback for at least the last 48 hours, or at least the last three nights i
Agree. Switchback is best trail on the mountain. I’d rather they not blow snow on Challenge than not blow snow on Switchback and Sidewinder. If they had to choose.

Become? Skiing has always been a rich people sport. While most of us aren’t rich, we make it a priority so maybe spend less money on other stuff. If people want to get to an elite level at any sport it takes a lot of money for instruction. The kids going to Windells every summer are the minority. People like Papasteeze kids lol
I started skiing 20 years ago, and believe me, it was a lot more affordable then. You could always find a deal- Men’s day, woman’s day, buy one, get one, college discounts. It sure wasn’t anywhere near the price it is now.

I still say the trick with the most steeze on skis is still a massive 180, I loved park skiing for like a decade, I still love to watch Casabon, Harlut etc etc but the spin to win stuff just screams aerials to me and that shit while very impressive is like the least cool thing ever. It's just diving with more hassle.
Still love watching Tom Wallisch. What style.
