Making Turns

Making Turns (3/10)

  1. I'm sure CB could pull off a few bump runs on Asp or Rocket, but I think that a more serious bump trail should be considered if/when CB has its next expansion.
  2. After a long hiatus, I am finally back to this board. What have I missed since May of 2004? Besides the new board, of course (which looks great btw).
  3. It's gotten pretty bad over there though...even Satan was questioning the board's credibility now.
  4. Pretty accurate i'd say.
  5. Good thing CB is still nice is some ways...would rather go there than Blue.
  6. Well, yesterday had to have been the best trip I have ever had to Camelback. It didn't hurt that I took off of school to do it either for the 8-12 session. The conditions were unbelievable. It was nice powder, but extremely fast (especially Cliffhanger). Rhodo was sick...jumps are better with big lips. Besides it being warm and having no lift lines, this was one sick trip. Get off your lazy ass and head up, because this is the best time to do it.
  7. I conned my mom into letting me take off school with my freinds next Wednesday to head up to CB early. There's my ski day.
  8. That's what I thought, would be kinda cramped don't you think?
  9. Hard is fast...and we also know he likes it fast. The racing that is...
  10. For Wednesday night...It was pretty good. Some stuff was icy, but not bad overall. Jumps were hot, and I noticed alot of crazy side stuff on the trails. Lift lines weren't bad. Overall, real fun day, got many runs in.
  11. But the Meadows allows you to view all the idiocy (and craziness) of the park! SO it gets 3 pluses for that. The worst lift on the mountain is Cleo because technically its not a lift anymore, just a big peice of metal on the mountain collecting snow.
  12. Or you could be like me and hit Rhodo ten times in a row. Hey, the Raceway Triple is the most confortable lift on the mountain and don't even try to argue. The racers get everything nice dammit.
  13. Its either that or my freinds trying to bounce the chairs on the Raceway Triple to a new air record. This also reminds me when someone I know fell off the lift at SHawnee from like 35 feet up. That was funny.
  14. OK, I'll post the report for Wednesday. It was awesome! Yeah! Lot of powder to ice transitions though. Lot of wind. Not 2 many peeps. Park was fun. Pipe sucked. Raceway triple lift is comfortable. Needed many layers of gloves. Freind killed his wrist in box rail. I grinded box rail 90 degree slides 4 times in a row. That's about all.
  15. Did you do any tricks? or just jump? Anyway, I like the hip jumps. But the landings on the jumps ice up quick. I finnaly landed a 90 degree grind on their box rail. Some snowboard kids we're hitting up the rail and tearing themselves new ass-holes. It was great.
