So anyone can sign up for the slopestyle you just have to get there early enough before the comp fills with non-invitees.

Can we expect features on black bear tomorrow? Judging from the snow they blew today plus tonight they should have plenty.

its in front of the small staircase. it looks like a large black pipe with a green swirl around that resembles a candy cane. had so much fun today. the a-frame was super fun and took a couple of tries to get your speed dialed. didn't hit that many jumps but i'm hoping andy will start to build some on black bear soon. the bleacher box was set up perfectly so you could hit it from both sides. sick opening day bear creek!!

i saw those stickers on some cars that were near me. any idea why they put them on because the vehicles were legally parked.

I'd like to see more kickers with nice transitions and LIPS. Every kicker seems to throw you foward and not up. It makes it hard to really steeze out your airs. Something that pops you like this.

From what I can tell from the webcam it looks like the boardercross is on black bear. So that implies that the slopestyle will be on cascade. Anyone here participating in this. I'm in the master grouping (30-39) so I doubt I'll have much competition in slopestyle.

props to papasteez for the image hookup and and swdorsey for the detailed info on the stairset. i think we all can agree that this year will be bears most progressive season since its existence. last year was nice, but like nick said this season bears park should have some of the nicest jibs in pa. if not the east coast. just threw down on my season pass and now i'm just praying for snow.

with kickers that large i hope you are going to build them with smooth trannys. nothing sucks worse then getting bucked off a lip because there is no transition.
