guitar73
cold, fast, & icy.....that about sums it up. we got to the mtn a little after 7pm. busses and more busses, aparently it was HS ski club time as well. anyhow, tinymoose dropped off her new skis at the tune shop to get bindings mounted. while that was getting done, we had dinner at the trails end cafe. single chair and long trail were the brews of the night. we booted up, got the skis, and hit the slopes. I had waxed our skis the previous night, so they were nice and slick on the cold man-made. lapped timberline, grizzly, extreme, & sasquatch. everything was icy, except sasquatch. tinymoose's new skis, volkl kenjas 156cm, performed well. as she can attest, those skis, while 87mm underfoot, had very good edge grip on the hardpack. we packed it in around 9:45pm. good times as always. tinymoose
Had a great time last night taking the new skis out for a spin! They did a really great job of gripping in all but the iciest of conditions. Here they are in all of their beauty... happy little clouds and all.
tinymoose
Sadly no fried food specials. Especially no fried buffalo cheesy sticks.
vinnyv11
Glad your ski's are working out for you. Its a mess of ice out there now. Once people ski off the top layer its sliding the whole way down.
