tnt Posted January 18, 2016 Report Share Posted January 18, 2016 No one there. set out in the AM thinking we'd go to Elk because they had a favorable forecast. But it didn't materialize, so we went to the close JF. No one was there. Skied on to every fixed grip, slow lift all day. Place was 100% open. River shot had man made powder that was down right nice. Ditto for happy land. Everything else was nice snow. Bumps on exhibition were a bit solid. And you know, it's JF....nice, but short. River shot was much better because the guns were blasting on it all day. But there were a few tree shots on the trails on that side - solitude to telstar, or something like that - that were a little icy, it all being man made snow, but still fun for the novelty of it....
