Timeless Posted February 8, 2006 Report Share Posted February 8, 2006 Can any of you burton fan's out there tell me if the three hole mouting is compatible with a "normal" 2*4 board? I'm thinking of getting some cartel's for my new board (Ride), overcoming my unfounded prejudice towards burton gear. Any opinions on cartels as a mid level binding? any alternative suggestions? adrian Posted February 8, 2006 Report Share Posted February 8, 2006 the universal plate is on the lower end models. the middle and top of the range get (2/4)x4 discs without padding and 3d discs with padding. if youre truly in a bind, the (2/4)x4 discs can be used for 3d inserts and the 3d discs can be used in (2/4)x4 inserts if you want them to.
