Well, it doesn't look like i'll be getting a new board this season :banghead . I just have more important things i have to spend my money on, but oh well. Does anyone know how to, besides riding soften my board? Is it possible? This is my second season on it and it's just way too stiff. I know i may sound like a dumbass here, but i'm asking out of curiosity...

I guess if you want to spend the time, and just flex it over and over again, it'll eventually soften. But you'll have to be flexxing for an equivilant of about 50+ days on the snow. Just a guess though, who knows if it'll actually work. and it would take alot of time.

What else is more important than snowboarding though?

my m3 was a lil on the stiff side for what i like... so i just buttered whenever i had the chance and it loosened it up a bunch. just manual and hit butter boxes every chance you get. you can even do it standing at the base waiting for your buddies. just ollie and go from nose to tail, nose to tail, so on and so on. may not help a ton, but it should give you a little bit of a softer ride in time.

... and if nothing else it will build your "butter" muscles making it seem easier to flex the board :)

haha, i figured. I have a revolution custom board. I'm really not digging it, so i'll brave it this year, and next year all hell will break loose.

Hmm, I dunno if it would work, but what if you took 3 cinderblocks, set it up with one under each end, and then put one in the middle to get flex it through the middle a bit. Burton does that for their infinity ride boards with a machine, the boards start with like 3" camber and they flex them backwards to soften them up, to a point where they will never soften further. Just put like a blanket over each block so it doesn't scratch up your board. Leave it for a day or two and see what happens. Never tried this, but its an idea.
