snorovr Posted January 26, 2007 Report Share Posted January 26, 2007 Any ski that has rivets in the back always throws the snow wider, which is a huge pain to follow. The Big Troubles and Seths both throw up a pretty large amount. Any big mountain twin makes a pretty huge spray, because the tails are really large to facilitate landing switch in deep snow. Papasteeze Posted January 26, 2007 Report Share Posted January 26, 2007 your looking to buy skis based on how big the rooster tail is? file an angular notch in the edge at the widest part of the tail to pick up the snow on both sides and viola, the bigger the notch the better the rooster tail!
