OutCold Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 K2 Auto Bindings Anyone checked these out or have these? I was looking at them, they look pretty interesting. Just looking for some opinions on them.
librider Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 it seems like a worthless idea. In the video he still had to line up the toe strap. Strapping in for me is not a long or difficult process at all.
Glenn Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 (edited) Threading the buckle is the hardest part of the whole ordeal, so its cool you only have to thread 1 buckle. That being said, unless you ride with impatient skiers all the time, it's not really a huge issue. That also being said lacing "technology" for boots has really caught on so this has promise from a sales point of view. It's certainly a better solution than those flow bindings. Tyler Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 i was checking them out at a shop, and it seems worthless. strapping in is not a problem at all and doesnt waste any time. burton has something similar. ...both are retarded

GNU_rider Posted December 10, 2007 Report Posted December 10, 2007 The burton binding you're talking about the P1 SpeedZone is absolutely terrible people in my shop rode them at the on the snow demo last year and literally tore off the speed zone pull and our rep. gave us some bullshit excuse that the production models had a thicker and stronger cable.
