That is one of the greatest stories of all time. Too bad witnessing something like that only happens once in a lifetime. I wonder if this "gapers in the park" problem is only in PA/NJ? I travel out west and up to VT quite frequently and its never this bad, sometimes non-existant.

Boulder was pretty beat today from the ice last night. I think its time to change freedom or love around too, i've lapped those parks thousands of times.

Skilift, its nice to see you learned from your experiences. I cant tell you how many times I see people just ride through the park at almost every mountain and sit on the landing below a jump. My buddy almost hit a lady and her son pizzaing down a landing, they could have easily been killed/seriously injured. He went back to yell at her and she claimed "everyone has access to this trail and its your responsibility to avoid me". I still cant get the thought out of my mind of someone on the landing everytime I drop at Boulder.

I've been riding at Boulder mostly this year, only been to Blue and Bear once or twice. Don't wait for them to come up to you cause they most likely wont. I've talked to a couple kids there that kill it, their alot better than me, and there pretty cool. Your right though about that, everyone at Boulder rolls with a crew.

That is true, no one is invincible, but I have been to Blue and Boulder on crowded weekends and if I had to put money on whose lips were better I would have to go with Boulder. It might just be the amount of gapers at Blue riding off the lips as if they were jumps.

I like that edit, not bad at all.

Added a couple things.

Definately Killington. Its just a better mountain overall. 2 gondolas, tons of lifts, fun trees, steeps, good parks etc.

its actually alot wider than the board i'm riding now (technine icon 151). you can get large bindings on it no prob with no overhang.

I think I saw it but I didnt know that was Cardoni. Were you watching the finals? I thought the small kid with the purple pants was killing it and Preston was pointing him out everytime he dropped. Oh yeah, some kid aired out of the QP and took out the judge.

Yeah, but the kids who I and a bunch of other people think should have won were riding the whole course with style and consistency. The judging was done by some High Cascade staff, a couple reps from Oakley, and I think a couple Boulder park staff. If it was up to Preston and the other announcer to decide who won, I think these 2 kids would have placed highly.

actually yeah, Marc deserved getting second, but 3rd and 1st were wack. I dont even remember cardoni riding and Kempson was killing it but not a sure stand out. the kid who won best pants should of got third ( I think his name was John O'Connor) and Yoder should of got 1st.

Probably one of the sickest comps in PA history, or at least in Boulders history. The level of riding was crazy. Kids from all over the east coast showed up. The setup was great as well. It started out with like a 5 choice jib section: custom coffee table, zumiez couch, Boulder park propane tank, long picnic table, and a grill bonk. Then there were 3 choices at the bottom: a flat rail all the way on the left, a mini "Arctic Challenge" QP in the center and a marshmellow barrell bonk on top of a pyramid. The only thing I thought was funny was the results. I wasnt expecting the 3 kids that won to even place. Plus the guy who got first happens to ride for Oakley... Overall, it was a really fun day. Preston was announcing which is always good. Tons of free product from Oakley, Dakine, Ride, and Zumiez. There should be a bunch of pics and edits popping up all over in the next couple of days.

I havent been to JF yet this year but I was at Boulder yesterday. Theres not really any complete beginner park at JF or BB, but the closest would have to be freedom. They have a couple nice flat boxes, a low log, and a barrel on top of a spine but thats about it for beginner stuff.

People this dumb should be shot immediatly. Seriously, this thread has provided entertainment but its just too much. Do you realize everyone here thinks your an idiot? We are talking about LAYED OUT BACKFLIPS, not "lame" straight flips. DH, just put this kid in place. And no I havent tasted his nuts.
