Omg I almost choked on my hot cocoa from laughing this morning when I read this.

Did you pull the trigger yet? Someone literally went out of their way to find you a deal and you're still dragging your feet.....

I thought Mr Redford developed Sundance resort in Utah.   He had a big home there.

BTW Sundance is an interesting little hill.  We car-pooled and got 2 for 1 lift tickets.  Plus the bar was an authentic old Western bar and straight out of the Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid movie.

He did, hence my comment about Redford.

Im sure youre talking about the Owl Bar, awesome little place that I have had a few to many drinks at on more than one occasion.

  3. Does someone have 27.5 rocker anything i can try? Trying to find a non rockerd twin is proving to be pretty difficult.
although as a purchase update i will say my budget is getting thinner by the day lol so this may be held off for a while.
maybe ill just buy a road bike

Yes, find me on Saturday. A road bike will be way more expensive.

    GSSucks did you ski corbetts?

I have not, but I would love to ski it. Out of my 4 trips to Jackson it was open one day for about 2 hours before patrol shut it down because they hauled 6 people out on sleds. Once you get past the first two turns its all down hill......

Also...the Big Wally video...my favorite line is at 2:50 "He jumped in Corbets with all the upper management types...I had enough of that scene so I went around the corner and jumped into S&S and met them at the bottom".  Wally died back in 2010 right before my trip out there when he got swept off a cliff in Cheyenne Bowl and now has the woods next to the bowl named after him.

So are you going to ski Corbets, or just hype it?

  7. Are you in a 27.5 boot? Whats your current BSL? I have a bunch of shit you can ski if you fit, but I have pivots on everything so it all comes down to your BSL.

Jump on Evo.com and sort through their selection, lots of good stuff in the $300-500 range and its easy to cross stuff off the list.

It still just boggles the mind that they've been doing this for so many years and they still can't get it right.  It's like every year they have to learn it all over again.

I think they have been doing this for 40 years, but I have no proof.

  9. No. PASR volunteers. We need to keep costs down to keep the beer that Jeff provides free.

I was talking to Jeff the other night, he said that PASR will be supplying all the beer for the lot, for the entire season. He is such a nice young man.

  10. um, most ppl don't know the minutia of how bindings work and how they are supposed to be mounted. that's why there are ski shops with ppl who are trained to do such things. for me, i wouldn't touch my bindings with a ten foot pole unless i got the proper training.

With the right bindings and a little bit of mechanical aptitude it is really easy, I have mounted plenty of skis over the past few years. Granted I also design mechanical things for a living, so that may help my case.
