park was real good last night...we were out fixing the stuff almost all night and shit was good...last night was the last day of the baby terrain park...tom and andy i think were tearing it out last night...the palmer rail is fixed and tom said it should be going out yesterday so idk if that happened last night...but stay stoked cuz hike park should be good

all of brecks parks are not steep at all...prob very close to bears...which is why i said the one mound of snow for the jump was like 50ft tall...but you all contradict yourselves when saying that a park is not all about the park builder...if that was true then why would you say that andy doesnt have has much experience...he doesnt...hence why bears park isnt as good...dont get me wrong andy does a good job with the park but there are always room for improvments and i start mentioning stuff and everyone is on my ass...just trying to bring back some good ideas from such a nice park and you all freak out

actually bear does have better snowmaking smartass...breck relies on mainly natural snow...however they do have snowmakers but there the shitty air ones like blue...bears park could be just as good as brecks...its all about the park builder

if he was in a black fleece then he is the one guy that does training for ski instructors...he is no part of ski patrol...ski patrol would never train instructors...they are to totally different things plus idk what trail this was on but students are only taken on three slopes...the learn to ride section which is roped off... the bunny hill which if your riding there you have no right to bitch cuz you should go on there expecting to get cut off and run into...and the trail next to the beginner triple(not the beginer terrain park the next trail over)...only other exceptions would be private lessons which the students are able to ride and can control themselves and we are just helping them inprove their skills...but it sounds like this happened once to you and your complaining...you know how many different threads there would be on here if every time someone got cut off they made a new thread about it?? when your riding you have to watch out for yourself and for others in order for you to stay safe...there are stupied people out there

just got back from breckenridge colorado last night...there park is rediculous...its simple yet so fun...best flow of any park i have ever ridden...the way they build their jumps is so nice...huge wide cheese wedges that give you air but you have enough air time that you dont need a 60ft jump...i think the biggest jump they had is like a 55 footer but it shoots you so nice...ill put some pics up but that jump that im talking about the mound of snow was 50ft tall

you are very confusing in what you are saying...there would not be a ski patroller teaching an instructor...second, if an instructor has a group of kids and they are in front of you...you have to avoid them...an easy way of doing this is staying off the beginer slopes...we only take beginers on very few trails...i would know im an instructor and all you guys bitch and moan about getting cut off when its my kids that are getting cut off...i should be the one on here bitching and moaning about it

umm well i would keep the first jump...add another jump where the butter pad is...cheese wedge/step down...that rolls into a third jump...to a fourth jump right at the beginning of tubing so you can ride right into the fifth and sixth jump... each jump would get progressively bigger...now for the other side i would prob put the picnic table off the cliff slanted up a little with the 420 box as a down box as the landing...(so a A frame box with a 5 or so ft gap between the up and down...then keep the down flat down box but alongside or it put a nice long urban down rail...keep the smurf...put some other feature next to it also...then to the staircase...then the quarter pipe but add some stall bar at the top or bonk of some kind. thats my idea for cascade in a thought time of 2min

who else thinks there needs to be a rebuild on cascade? it is so empty and it has no flow. Park crew needs to go into a rebuild with the mind set like they do with black bear because they always try and make cascade so BIG but it turns out being shit...just put in lines that flow and that people will like and it will be a goood park. black bear has had a decent park all year as with cascade it has be shit all year...there needs to be something done

conditions this afternoon were near perfect...for those of you that dont know they redid the two middle jumps in black bear...they are both like the second jump used to be but are bigger...its a pretty fun line...but cascade needs something...idk what it is but that park just doesnt have flow or anything in it...and i know im not the only person that feels this way.

there are a few younger freestyle coaches...but whenever we are teaching students we are not allowed to step foot in the park with the students...but as soon as our lesson is done we have no control over where they go unfortunately...

i would have to say your pretty close with your judgements...but i think that the bigger jump at the top of black bear is prob a 20 footer

ski instructors dont bring students in becuase were not allowed to teach in the park

Can we please not talk about this like every single year...the only way anything is gonna happen about people being in the park that shouldn't be is to have a park pass and that will prob never happen...end of story

we have tried park passees for ever and bear just doesnt want them so we really dont need to get into this whole discussion all over again just like every year...bear will finally realize one day when they get sued by some dumbass that was not supposed to be in the park to finally use park passes.

whats up with the lips of the jumps higher than the rails so it shoots you up and you land on the rail instead of launching you smooth onto the rail? plus anyone get the point of the way the 420 box is set up?? ha it shoots you up and you land flat on the box since its flat...if it were to be a down box that kind of jump would be good but not when the box is flat
