yeh there is alot of snow in some areas but surprisly not as much in others...i was doing the instructor training today so i got the first chair hah but black bear has a deacent amount of snow in some areas but others not so much...i think that there gonna just keep it closed and pound it with snow...but cascade looked like it had pretty much snow on it so i would expect to see some deacent features on it...andy wont let us down!

bc mark said like a couple days ago that cascade has enough snow to suppot features...but that was before the rain but now with all the snowmaking i wouldnt doubt that we'll see some features

so anyone plan on going?? I was thinking about going to the bon fire but it says that if they are open or are snowmaking then there wont be one...so who knows...bc mark any more info on this?

it is def accessible...the trail was last year...all you had to do was walk off the carpet lift up about 10ft and then walk to the right and your on the trail...im sure it will be the same this year

so i know this isnt a park update but my friend who is working at rentals this year got a schedule and there are people working on sat and sunday so they havent officially announced it but it looks like they will have some trails open starting this weekend!

have you been to the circus lately? cuz if so you prob would have seen all of their rails hah

damn that is so rediculous!!! but what about something a little smaller to hit for the first time this season to get back in the groove...ill hit those any day of the year but for the first time out it would have been cool to have something a little smaller but def props to bear for having those jumps...bolder doesnt even have that!

yeh mine are more of a rectangular shape...but they just mount to the actual snowboard rack that you have then right? do you have pictures?

yep the tubing park is going to be open today tomorrow and wednesday...it is only jumps and i believe there are two of them...ill be heading up today and post some picts tonight or tomorrow...but they also have the little hike park with a down flat down, down rail, flat box, tire and i think some little rail and that little two inch high box for beginers...

anyone know why bear stops the snowmakers so early every day? like yesterday was only a high of like 32 so they could have at least kept them on until like 12 instead of turning them off at 9 when it was still 22 degress outside...same with this morning...i remember them blowing with even more marginal temps last year so im very surprised...i know water temp has something to do with it but still, that is def cold enough

they should have this hike park from tomorrow until they actually open...none of this one day thing...besides there really prob only like a few days away from opening anyways as long as the temp predictions for tonight and tomorrow night hold

yeh but you can find them on almost any snowboard website...but its cool i have an 07 www and if i could get one for cheap i would get another but i dont wanna spend all the money again when my board is perfectly fine
