Jeff, I can show you why atomic are bad, and Volkls are good skis..In a way you might understand...I can relate it all to cars. Lemme know if you wanna see how....
-
There is this funny thing about atomics.... I don't quite get it. Jeff is all preaching that they are the best ski and only the strongest can ski them.... I was just riding up the lift with some OLD man (70ish) at stratton and he was saying how he needed to buy a new pair of Atomics...I asked him are you getting there new ones.. he said yes the GS 11s. Also SkiMom liked the 11s...and I don't think she is one of the strongest people. I guess atomics just makes queer lil skis, that some people love, and somepeople don't like

And I thought I was the only person who emailed ski areas

I do my own stuff. It is a lot cheaper, faster, and I get it done just how I like it. After a few times you can experiment and see how you like your edges, and other stuff like that, and do it the same way every time, unlike at a shop where they will do it differently everytime. Also I know exactlly what wax I should use for the weather the next time I plan on skiing. I can try to take some pics the next time I am up at CB waxing my stuff. But that might be a week or 2.

A while ago I used accuweather, but I started using weather.com after a few times when I looked at both of them, and weather.com was much more accurate.

Thats deffinatly rain... 49.9 degrees 89.5% humidity...according to the camara

I am not sure if that is bad for the ski. A number of racing magizines and websites have things where you can send them your skis and they put wax on them, then put them in an oven for 90 minutes, to the wax gets melted into the base deeply. Not sure how well it works tho... Maybe Ski999 can give us some insight in this

I would buy that...right after I got out and blow 1100 on the new electronic atomic bindings <sarcasim>

Yeah I was thinking of posting that too, it can come "waxed" but there will still be PTex hairs and other stuff on the bottom of the ski, that you should really wax (and brush) many times to get it all out. The same goes for after a stone grind. Wax and brush, and wax and brush.

Hey this week I was up at Okemo, Stratton and Belleyare Stratton was warm one day, and then it rained, the next day it wasn't so nice, as all the rain froze up and they couldn't groom. Okemo made snow, and was nicer, but one trail (that most of the other trails went into) was poorly groomed, but the rest of the mountain was really nice. Belleyare was.... with nice soft powdery bumps on the top half, and desent snow on the bottom half. I called Ski999 up from Vt, and we desided that today we should hit up Bell. Deffinatly the best day of all. I think all the areas are a lot better now that they have had time to groom, and snowmake...That being said, here comes a 1/2" of rain

Yet today there was only a bunny hill open today

Yeah, now all we need to do is wait for it to get about 20 degrees colder

I think plastic would skate easier on carpet, tho I don't know, as I have never tried to skate with skis that were 40 cm

Most days if you have your boots on they will let you ski the quad until like 930 am, so you can go up there and ski down and get your tickets...But if you need to bring stuff to the lodge, it doesn't work as well.

Hey that dude is on real skis...TAKE ME THERE!!
-
The trick to that is, stay in the center back, way against the cab...Everytime they open the window and all the heat comes out
-
Ehh I don't want to make you feel bad...How about on snow

Nice pics

Ski, It looks like you are a little too far forward in your second pic
