Any park updates? I havent been up since last saturday... But i know they were blowing the shit out of mainline. Did they form any jumps or add any rails? Also, anyone going up tonight that wants to do park?

Does anyone know why snow is not making snow at any chance they can? Other resorts inthe area are 100% open with full coverage. I just went on the sno mtn webcam and saw that they are not blowing where the big terrain park should be located. In order to get that area ready to build three descent sized jumps and a variety of rails, they should be blowing the hell out of the slope. They are definately slacking hard core and im just wondering why. They need to turn things around big time or im going somewhere else next year for sure. I am almost tempted to go in an tell them i want a refund due to their lack of installing new lights, not blowing when they should be and shitty rail / feature setups. Anyways, i sound like a bitch, but all my complaints are legit im just curious if anyone has any answers other than sno mountain is hurting for money at this point?

I heard a few months ago that condos were being planned to go in on the north face of sno. I heard that there would be some on the in-run of white lightning!! Does anyone know if this is actually true? If it is true, does anyone have info on these condos to be built or someone to contact in regards to? Thanks, Steve

Does anyone know the name or email address of the lady who films for sno mtn?? She was shooting in the 22' half pipe opening day. I wanted to see if she had any decent shots from that day!! Any info would be great!

Ha ha... the pipe was fine other than the fact that the side of the pipe facing the sun got warm and sticky towards the end of the day.... This caused me to air out and land at the bottom of the pipe blowing out my knee and takin a ride with ski patrol!! Once they groom it again, it should be fine. There were only about 3-4 people up there actually getting out of the pipe...

So on the sno mtn website, they say that today is the grand opening of the 22' pipe!! Is this bullshit or is it somehow true?

So I was up at sno yesterday.... I was bored skiing the 1 jump and shitty rail setup, so i went to the 13' half pipe they have up now... That thing is the worst groomed half pipe i have ever seen. I skied down each side of the deck looking for decent hits, and there was not one hit that was vert on the entire half pipe.... I just thought that this was pretty funny due to the fact that sno is now making a 22' half pipe.... I have tried to refrain from posting replys that bashed on sno, but this is just rediculous. Who the hell is grooming that thing, has anyone grooomed it since initially grooming it?? Hope things improve!!

Its already 1/3 of the way through february, the mountain isnt in the best shape... There is a ton of snow blown for the 22' pipe. However, there was no one hitting the pipe last year, the existing pipe that was put in last week probably has minimal use, the only people that will use the 22' pipe would be myself and maybe 5 other skiier up at sno. The rest will be practicing on the 13' pipe. With sno not having a decent pipe in years what is the point to go from nothing to the biggest pipe around. No one will use it and if they do they will go half way up the walls and destroy it, requiring grooming daily. (expensive) I suggest keeping the 13' in prime shape and using the sno for the 22' on the rest of the main park set up!! Im sure the general population would enjoy this more. Eventhough i would use the 22' pipe, i would prefer maybe a quarter pipe at the bottom of the trail, and 3-4 nice tables or booters, and the 13' pipe. Just my input.... instead of advertising a 22' pipe, you could advertise a park that is open much longer into the season!!

I think a quarter pipe without a barrel on top would be a great feature while the snow is still being blown for the 22' half pipe. As long as it is groomed correctly... Not to sound like a dick or anything, but last years half pipe had one good hit, and the transitions were horrible. It would give people a place to practice pipe tricks before the big pipe moves in creating much less casualties on the super-pipe. I think the first jump should be altered a little to be like the one that was there last year. It had a much higher and more vertical lip and the landing was much steeper. Easier to do big corked spins and more forgiving with the steeper landing. Other than that, blow as much snow as possible and keep the landings on the jumps groomed evenly each day!!! HOPE THIS HELPS!!

I saw the snow cats pushin around snow where the main park is going to be (hopefully)!! Wondering if anyone knows whats going on over there.. I saw about 5 or 6 big piles of snow, but they were all like 10 feet long, it looks like they are just going to make 6 tabletops that look like the one on the current smaller park. I hope thats not what going on though!!! Anyone know what the deal is?

I will be goin up around 5:30 - 6.... I bet sno is going to be dead due to the cold weather! They will probably be blowing on every hill. I got khaki pants a black jacket, and greenish helmet. Give me a holler if you see me up there, always lookin for new people to ski with! STEVE

Its time to think about the next ski season... I was wondering if sno mtn ever got around to making any ski improvements over the summer, such as new lighting or high speed lift? I am trying to decide weather to buy a pass here again or jf/bb... Also, is there any type of early season pass discounts for those who had a pass last year (returning customers)? Any input would be awesome!

days skiied: 40 season pass: yes sir Improvements: - I know everyone has said this already, but the need for a high speed lift is crucial. The lift takes a hell of a long time to get to the top and is pretty annoying at times! - If you say you are going to have parks that are rediculous and huge, you should have a rediculously huge park/ pipe. The big park was pretty nice at the beginning of the year, but it was not as advertised. The half pipe was not groomed correctly ever. If you plan on having a pipe, have the groomers properly trained on pipe grooming. If not, dont have a pipe. - The lights are also terrible, yellow lighting. They need to switch to halogen, or zenon white lighting that is evenly spaced throughout all trails.

Wonderig if bb is planning to stay open for next weekend?? Also, whats the deal with ticket prices and hours?? Is it only sat and sun that they are open?

Are they rebuilding all jumps for this weekend? How long are they planning on staying open with just the park? Is their pipe still up and running?

Thanks bro... hopefully i can get back out there before the end of the season!!! I got messed up throwing a cork 9 on the seccond table like a month ago and i havent been able to ski the park since!!! NEXT WEEK ITS GOING DOWN HOPEFULLY!!

Hey Man... I have 07' enemies, neon-green promodel boots, and when im in the park i usually have a greenish helmet on.... I think ive seen you up at sno a few times, you have the bright blue jacket right?
