Pizza Wedge

Pizza Wedge (2/10)

  1. Pretty good job on the vid. Enjoyed it.
  2. Great job on the video. Nice soundtrack too boot.
  3. I emailed Blue about the apparent misleading wording of the email and the application. Alex responded this morning that this offer is open to everyone, not just former season pass holders, and they will be changing the wording on the application. He sent me an 'updated' version of the app, only it still reads "2009-10 Season Pass Holders". Sent a reply back asking if the current is acceptable or should I wait for the corrected version.
  4. According to latest AccuWx forecast, snow is supposed to start late Friday afternoon and last most, if not all of, Saturday. Looking at close to a foot of fresh. Plus another shot of snow next Wed-Thurs.
  5. Forecasters are calling for colder/snowier weather to move in by first week of Feb. Pattern looks to be nearly identical to what we had in mid-Dec through early Jan. Check out Herb Stevens' forecast: http://www.snocountry.com/index.php/component/content/article/41/3243.html Granted that skiing in 40F temps are nice, but we really do need a cold blast with snow, or at least snowmaking temps, to keep things from totally crashing out. Just my two-cents.
  6. From about 10 to 2:30. Except for that top section of Razors, the rest of the mountain was sweet.
  7. Gotta echo the sentiments on today at Blue. Was a fantastic day to not be at work and to enjoy the super conditions (Razor's excluded of course.)
  8. Checked out the thread on this on the Blue Mt. page. Now, I'm all for stringing up the perps from mid-tower of the 6 pack, but from reading the news accounts it seems to me that the folks who got ripped-off may have brought it on themselves. 1) Wouldn't surprise me if they left their valuables in plain sight. Very rarely would anyone looking to steal break into cars randomly and start looking for valuables. Takes too much time. They just want to smash and grab. Working in Center City I see this all the time. People leave a purse/wallet/camera on the seat or the floor and next thing you know the car window is shattered and the stuff is gone. 2) Patrons are warned not to leave their gear unattended or unlocked. 3) Perhaps additional security patrols and/or cams in the parking areas would be a deterent? If you hide your valuables, use the lockers, leave the expensive stuff at home or keep it with you, there shouldn't be any concern.
  9. And while we're at it, how about the elimination of the locker room space and making it into a rental center. Maybe I'm mistaken but are all the lockers now outdoors? Makes for a real comfortable time getting into your boots on extremely cold days.
  10. I was at CB right before Christmas and they only sell Open-to-Close tickets (in addition to the night tix.)
  11. I gotta agree with this assessment. The lesser used trails were the best bet of the day. The more popular runs were skied off or just mobbed. Human-pylon day on the slopes.
