Pizza Wedge (2/10)

  1. How bad is the park really? I want to come up tomorrow strictly to ride park. I don't need perfectly sculpted jumps I just want to toss some 1's and 3's over the medium stuff. What do you guys think? Total Bust? Or worth it? If there's 1 decent jump that's all it takes to have a little fun. Let me know!
  2. tons of originality. I love the jib on the other guy's board etc... etc...
  3. solid day at blue, that first jump in the lower park was painful. tossing 180's onto flat and my heels are totally crushed. good times either way.
  4. Sasquatch? I'm not sure what you're talking about... I was there today from 1:00-5:00. Tossed a few big 180's over the first jump in the lower park... promptly clearing the puny landings and smashing my heels. Bumps on mainstreet were ODD to say the least, so far apart. Fun times.
  5. I'm still in talks with my other riders so I can't promise any meeting times yet. My real name is Brian in case you see me and "seal614" isn't cutting it, haha.
  6. ok I'll be up there somewhere around 11 I'm guessing. I'm tall, wearing a blue & black jacket, grey Marmot pants, K2 Enemys, oakley goggles, giro g10 helmet.
  7. I'm thinking of heading up to Blue wednesday. If anybody will be up there post your time-frame so I can see who I might be able to catch. How is the Park? I just got back from Winter Park, CO where I was lapping bumps and jumps for 4 days straight. I'm looking to see if there's any solid jumps on sidewinder or the lower park to add a grab to some big 180's or a revisit to the 3.
  8. I'm pretty sure that was his entry for level1's 'super unknown' here's an equally sick entry from a previous year. dude kills it.
  9. That "season ender" we're talking about. I took that at (what I thought was) high speed last week and still landed right on the knuckle (2-3 feet short of the landing) and BOUNCED off because the landing is so steep and disappears beneath you. I didn't crash though, just bounced. OUCH. My heels were pissed at me the rest of the day. I guess it could've been worse though, people taking that thing at speeds where they only get halfway over the table and crash back down to earth.
  10. A.) I've been making weekly trips to Yard's since December '05, $20 cases baby! B.) I bet you know my boy Brian Shneck? I can almost promise he's playing in one of those gigs. C.) I eat at Allegro's once every other day, I live within 50 feet, good stuff! D.) Hot Tub is part of the place, but splitting anything with 10 other roommates makes life cheap: Cable, Kegs, Hot Tub, etc...
  11. What's up Steve, my older brother just graduated from Drexel's 5 year (Electrical & Computer Engineer)... and is now working full time at Penn! They're treating him pretty nicely, as they should; Drexel engineers are the real deal. I don't have a season pass, normally 3 or 4 of us just hop in a car and make the trip on a friday (as a senior I have no class on fridays for the first time ever!) and ski during the day. The tickets are $34 for a full-day student which is pretty nice. I have my own gear and last time my lady-friend had EZ-pass so... count it! If you get up and on the road at the right time you can make it to Blue in something like 1 hour 15 minutes (no joke). Just out of curiosity where do you live? I'm up at 40th and Spruce. We have a hot tub and kegerator here so if you ever find yourself drunk on our side of U. City it's worth a look! haha.
  12. I was on paradise last friday skiing it pretty quickly. I mostly stuck to hopping down off to the right and shooting back onto the course (over and over, looking for entertainment). Nobody said anything to me but I wasn't exactly NUKING down the run.

I've ridden 2 generations of the K2 Enemy and ski all kinds of stuff (park ~ %30) and have found that they just kick all kinds of ass. K2 Enemy.
  14. haha you are probably correct. I'm an engineer; let's just say I DON'T have a 4.0, not by a longshot. I'm thinking of going again friday, I'll let you guys know.
