Hey johnny law "Second this is Camelback there is no village the whole place is maybe a 1/2 mile across, you realize your participating in a sport and then bitching about walking 200 yards." The village at camelback has access to the mt. by walking and then ski down to the base. It has been there since 1976 so get the SAND out of your eyes and comment on something you have some knowledge off.

I am not bitching about a 200 yd walk I walk it every day to get to laurel glade but with ALL the trails closed above laurel glade and the glade chair not running HTF do you get to laurel glade, so I can walk home. I skiied the rocket walked across the bridge then skied across 2 closed trails to laural glade. Just saying if the trail is open HTF do you get there.

Hey ROSSBOY Today 825am laurel glade listed as open. So I am in the village and like to walk to laurel glade like I did fri and sat and ski down. Except today to return to laurel glade was impossable that makes for a shitty walk back up to the village. Thanks for nothing. How do you list a trail as open with no access???

This is great BUT a little more notice would have been nice. With all the mini openings this year has been very hard to gauge. Last posting was mon thru thurs. 3pm to 9pm park only. I mistakenly ASSumed that meant the mountain earliest opening would be friday. What a fool I am cause I planned for friday and could have with a little more notice planned for thurs. Oh well see ya friday

"Camelback Mountain Resort will be open tomorrow, December 4th from 3pm to 9pm, and December 5th from 10am to 4pm". This 1st sentence looks like where the confusion started

CB is open today 9am no quads due to winds, Bailey to top

Boy the bailey chair is really slow and by 845 a 8 min line. The management just doesn't get it. Why only 1 chair to the top???

Since it is free with a seaon pass, why not issue it with the seasons pass. You already have to sign the BS disclaimer. Oh this would be to customer friendly for CB. I will try again today (2 failed attempts no one there)

One park improvement is the $10 charge (ouch) for the pass this year.And it doesn't open till 10am with only a 2 seat SLOOOW chair. This week after 4pm its the only chair running (just great)

The new management only cares about $$$$$. Just look at all the new ways to extract $$$ from us. Pay for parking, no cameltop,just to name a few.

They could allow access off near east or mark anthony. Then you would not have to ride the SLOW glenn chair at all.

I complained to Brian @ CB and he replied that MLK mon start would be 0830 yeah

Camelback is ripping us off even more on monday. $1 more than sat or sun and 1 1/2 hrs less. mon hrs 9-9. sat sun 0830 - 10 pm. They must think we are really easy.

The new 1st yr. manager from mountain creek will try to extract every $ from us that he can. Parking fees, limited lift tickets no more bargain monday or public servents day or ladies day. Plus no Cameltop on weekdays.

Anybody here get stuck on the chairs at CB yesterday (thurs). Too cold for that crap!!

I find the report not very reliable. It still lists 5 trails from sun pm at 7am mon. No info on mondays cond. lifts or trails. Where is the update the snow phone line says is updated on the website. Maybe they are closed monday to save MONE$Y

I got a reply from CB that the new hrs. were to make more and better snow during the colder times. Sounds like BS to me. It is just another way to cut 2 hrs of payroll.

I am an owner in the Village at camelback and season pass holder for 24 yrs. Most of my fellow locals are not pleased with the GM change. I also do not like the 2hr shorter weekday skiing. I really dislike the 9am start. We also lost sunday on the limited pass. That quite a reduction 1 whole day and 2 hrs/day all season with no reduction in cost. This all looks like COST CUTTING he is known for at mtn creek. I hope he only lasts 1 yr here.

I do not like the new hrs. Thats 2 hr less/day for the same price. Plus the limited pass does not include sundays this yr.. This new owner and GM do. not have a CLUE. I meet him at last years season pass holders party and talked about 09 but no mention of new hrs.
