  1. So I am looking at the weather reports for killington and I was planning on booking a hotel tonight but not sure what kind of snow they will have. Also from the BB board it looks like I can make turns at home. Anyone have any idea what Kton is like on opening weekend. How many trails do you predict open? etc etc etc
  2. I can only vouch for 32's lashed. I have had them 3 seasons now and I am still a newb. But, I will say worth the cash and very comfortable and versitile when it comes to doing anything on the mt. They run pretty true to size as long as you get them molded.
  3. Did anyone catch the guys being a dick on the show about going fast down burma rd and the burma lift to clear that hill... I am sorry but I get whistled at everytime from coming down from the top lodge and getting stuck and looking like an ass hopping past the half pipe. The show made it seem like going slow was a good idea but it's only a pain in the ass. they had 15 minutes of that spot on and it truely annoyed the hell out of me.
  4. G-spot is great. I have bought a lot of gear from them. The store is small but they have a huge sale store on the property with a lot of good deals. Everyone there is really helpful there also. Bought my last board from them.
  5. You're probably right about it not being 10 minutes but either way it was a lot longer than I wanted to wait and after a few hours of riding so early in the season I was content and didnt want to wait. Still was stoked to be up there so early in the season even though the hill was packed
  6. I was there early on the 10th. It started out just up and down with no wait for the first hour. By 11 am the lines were up to about a 10 minute wait. I bailed shortly after. It was great if you got in early.
  7. I got to boulder around 6 pm and it was raining a little but not bad. Fog was awful. I couldnt see my friend until I was right up on him. Made for interesting times when either of us bailed downhill from each other. The lift operators looked more annoyed that the park had a whole probably 10 people there and we kept going on same lifts. Rain softened up the snow so no Ice and perfect carving conditions. For those that missed it, it was perfect in how quiet it was and what an awsome time I had having the mt. to myself for once. PS. I laughed at how many PSAR stickers were all over the Boulder Park lift chairs and Poles. I love the one that mocks the D.A.R.E. logo
  8. I am leaving now from philly. be there by noon hopefully. Wearing tan pants, black jacket, white helmet, skeleton gloves. Most likely be the guy falling in front of you since I still am not very good and eat a lot of snow. If you see me yell Liam.
  9. I watched this kid take out the guys waiting for the jib. Mad people looked like they wanted to beat the kid. It got way too crowded after 1 pm for my tastes so I left soon after. I dont jib yet but around 10 am- 11:30 it was really wide open. Then they started making jumps and stuff on the left side and ruined most of the options around the crowds waiting for the rails. You should have just taken the guy out though. I hate rude people.
  10. I am new to the forums but I will be there... just hooked up a new board have to check it out. Be there tommorow most likely. If not for sure sunday.
  11. I havent been there in probably 3 years since I would rather goto Stowe anyway, but havent they always done the early season get in the back of a pick-up truck and ski the upper portions of the mt. I like it that way. Keeps the tourist off the mt. and keeps it almost exclusive to those more experienced riders. Plus its not an hours wait for the gondola.
