Yeah, I'm not gonna go and complain and bitch about recent events even though you probably thought I would... So apparently were not to ski in the woods on lightning, even though there freeken amazing right now. I got caught and they came down pretty hard on my ass, even though It was well deserved, I was a dick to ski patrol I do see there point and I'm sorry, I respect them and I know there just trying to keep us idiots safe. Saying that, "just because the speed limit is 45mph doesn't mean your gonna do it..." Because of the 2 people who fell off the lift last weekend, it is NOW a rule to put your bar down. I gave the lifty a hard time (sorta) and I had patrol waiting at the top for me and my friends, went back down to the bottom, my friends gave the lifty shit for calling it in and then his managers were waiting at the top for me. So, I'm pretty much saying, It's now legit, and don't give them shit when they tell you to put the bar down, because there serious. Peace...

well i'm going up for 9:00, I went up yesterday around 2 and the lot was completely packed, I said screw it and went home haha

I wonder if there ever gonna get another company to build them features, they can't last forever...

hey riderossi, any idea when there gonna update the park? I'm somewhat content with the features now i meanI like the urban down box at the top of spike as well as the up box, sorta getting bored with the corrugated pipe lol other than that...

Websites really nice! Rode NF all saturday morning, on the ski's and board, lapped lightning, the woods are covered pretty good with overblow... good time.

Yeah, thats what I meant, hike over to the top of the bunny slope, thats what we did but if you forgot to stop lol, you had to walk all the way around the lazy river. HINT HINT: I may have or my not have been riding with a couple people who said fuck it and didn't buy a pass, go ahead and tell me they were checking... hahaha they probably saw you and said shit check passes quick! plus my season pass was on my ankle but you couldn't see it through the baggy pants and I know nobody asked me. I was there between 6:30 and 9. probably should have sent it to you in a PM but... not like I have any motivation to help you guys out, just getting pissed for paying and watching kids there for free... ohh and every lift I hit there was 2 people* Yeah sno's park stuff is decent but they should really consider making/buying new features...

Ok so I'm gonna cut the criticism to a minimum because I'm just happy there open right now, but as for the park, almost every feature is wayyy to close together but when I really think it through, with no piles there's really nothing else they could do, just some longer bigger features would be nice, not these dinky little boxes. I guess boulder spoiled me... the way the mountain is set up now open-trail wise is really messed up, if you come down the park you have to either hike up to the bunny slope through the mud or you have to take off your board/skis and walk all the way around the lazy river at the lodge because it's not even close to be filled in. I really hope they consider making a cover for the lazy river next year, thats a HUGE waste of snow resources trying to fill that in when they could have been filling it up with barrels or something all fall when they had nothing else to do. just trust me, its really inconvenient right now up there. The lights are improved big time for the trails i've been down, all the lights on spike are "WORKING" and thats enough to satisfy me for now. Lower half of the mountain was choppy to be expected but I didn't mind. it was pretty late by the time I hit it up. NOBODY checked passes "cough cough" I feel bad for my buddy who actually paid for one... hint hint! Besides all that, like I said, I'm happy they opened but i'm sure they could have opened with what they had saturday night because idk if they even blew since then... I think I saw the lights on the guns on lightning on. I hope they go all out to try and get more slopes open for the weekend. At least there open!

I checked the cam, I see there starting to push snow, I called em' up, the guy said they're pushing for noon sunday but there's a possibility they'll open tonight, said to call back later to make sure. drove past around 1:30 this morning comin from the Hardware bar and looked like a big white cloud up there.

I said something about that in the last topic! I'm really pumped now. It really looks like they could open soon, I was really hoping friday would be it! but I'm betting saturday will be open, if not i'll go back to boulder.

over blow is nice though, who likes staying on the trails anyway...

I rmember my second yea working at Sno, throwing barrels into the lazy river, if I remember correctly, it sucked It. used ALOT of barrels and we still didn't have enough. You'd think that any barrels would help, hey, 55 gallons of snow per barrel haha idk why they wouldn't try again

I just checked the cam and right now the lights are off and there not making snow, maybe it warmed up too much or there just taking a well deserved break. remember, its only monday! they still have up to 4 more days to make snow and they'll probably keep making it during operational hours. I'm confident in a friday or saturday opening.

awesome, I could be mistaken but I'm looking at the web cam and on the other side of spike it seems like they have lights on skiers right side of the trail, If thats what I'm seeing it means they really did do some work on the lighting and i'm now even more pumped.

GrilledSteezeSandwich, you think the lifts are slow? yeah they are but go here any weekend during the day and you'll never stand in line more than 3 min, yeah the lifts are slow but when you take into consideration how long the lines would be and the crowded slopes at a more popular mountain its not as bad as you think and have you ever been to Sno? I mean, I don't really go any where else so I stay off other mountains topics because frankly I don't have the time to get into there business, but look at your self, If you frequently go to another mountain with no real aspiration of going to sno, coming on here bitching about there website? Get a fucking life dude! I'm not arguing that the website sucks balls, It absolutely does! But most of you guys really don't get sno's demographics and to be honest, its doing good with the locals because of the short lift lines and un crowded slopes, if the place was packed all the time I'd drive some place else... Really, trashing the website from this point on just makes you look like queer looser IT douche bags. You guys really don't get it, the mountains great because ^ Short lift lines and location. I don't want a thousand city fuckers coming to my mountain every weekend! I've worked in the hideout and I can't stand those people! But hey! maybe sno's owners do do want them here, so if they do I say they should defiantly make a new better kick ass flash website so all you douche bags can jerk off to the amazing graphics and pictures of whatever... I stopped caring... completely Why the fuck would anyone go to sno mountain let alone NEPA for a weekend ski trip any way? Thanks Brian, yeah, most of you guys sound like complete idiots, first of all, the leaves are off the trees, it was a really crappy day out and they haven't got around to do any landscaping yet! yeah It's gonna look like crap! ride deleware, 2-3 years of capital? hey, what, what if! They planned for a long term investment?! I'm no financial expert but it seems like there still in business and there not giving up! If you have any information about the investors who own sno please do tell because I don't think any of us actually know there financial circumstances, for all we know they can be a bunch of extremely wealthy business dudes and only own sno mountain so they can amuse there families and friends. a facility in which they have no interest in actually pulling a profit. hey, at least there doing a great job at keeping the lift lines short!
