Although now that I think about it the first hour is usually passholders only anyway. Here's what I would propose to blue. Open at 7. Passholders only from 7 to 9. Limited ticket sales each hour after that until 8pm. Passholders only from 8pm to 9pm so passholders can watch patrol do whirlybirds on challenge...a passholders perk.

I agree. what I'm afraid of is if we go back into yellow or red (which could be possible if we surge again in the fall) then we may be looking at closures all together....that's a worst case scenario of course. But to answer Dan's question no...I don't think ski season will be close to what we're used to. Shit I'm even contemplating sleeping in my car on any ski trips I take in the east. Barring anything unforeseen I'll be in Arizona in early December so if Snowbowl is open, I'll head up there but not planning on flying at all outside of that.

You're pretty spot on. In a normal year kids get sick almost instantly when going back to school... It never fails. They're healthy all summer. School starts and within 2 or 3 weeks here come the ear infections, colds, sniffles, coughing etc. Now couple that with the fact that were in the midst of a pandemic, where cases are way up and seemingly not coming down anytime soon. It scares the shit out of me.

Supposed to be a simultaneous live stream with kids actually in the class. I like the idea of not having to teach my kids like we had too last spring.

Looks like our school district will be giving students / parents the option to opt out of going into the building and offering online learning. If they do go in, class sizes will be limited to 16 and teachers will be behind plexiglass. Buses will be close to full I believe. Leaning heavily toward the virtual option as much as I hate to say it.

I hope all of Tampa Bay opts out and he is stuck throwing the ball to Bobby Bucher.

I prefer night conditions over first thing in the morning sometimes. Empty Spring nights are special.

The reality is what it is. We fucked up. No two ways about it...all we can do is our part by wearing masks, social distancing, washing hands, educating our kids etc. So incredibly disappointing that the country didn't come together on this one. But like everything...we make it political and this time it seems to be biting us in the ass. just my take on this whole mess. Either way looking at numbers daily was making me crazy. It's not like I won't read about it but I had to stop the "it's noon...gotta check the numbers" routine but don't worry Doug....you know I'll be raving about conditions during those sweet night sessions at Blue.
