I was in a comp. there last season... it was pretty nuts. They're a lot of fun, I'd deff. recomend entering one!

I think it's a lot smarter to keep blowing and open later (which is actually the semi-regular date for them) with better conditions... because wouldn't it be better for your home mountain to have the best conditions for awhile than for just a day and then have it be all slushy. I'd rather have my mountain have good conditions and other mountains open early and be crappy. B/c if you really feel the need to ride, you only have to ride that crap for the day... not everyday.

My brother worked last year as a snowboard instructer... he made enough money to pay for gas to get us up there and get bagels and coffee at dunken doughnuts, and thats about it. But I know he had a lot of fun doing it and loved teaching, he's trying to see if he can work weekends now because he has a "real" job on the weekdays. (He's moved up in the world from couch bum to a working man...I'm real proud) But I'd instruct if I was old enough just for the fun of it... getting to do your favorite thing and have fun showing people how to do it - can you complain? (as long as they speak fluent english )

I just buy a bag of skittles and m&m's when I first get there in the bottom lockers, then I bury the skittles in the snow next to the lift... ride and eat the m&m's and then eat the skittles when they're frozen, and I'm good for the day. So the whole "personal eating section" doesn't really matter... I think the only way I'd buy it is if I got to go to the front of the line.. but then everyone would get it... so I'd be in the back of the get in the front line so F it =) Sorry if I'm rambling... I want snow I'm in love.

Hehe..we're getting all sciectific about throwing boxers into a tree I should be up tomorrow morning, because it's raining now so I'm not going up tonight..and the only way I wont be there tomorrow (i go mornings/afternoons on saturdays) if it's still raining...so if your up there, find me and we can toss them together

Lurker....If I was wearing a pink collere'd t-shirt...or if it was later in the night a black jacket w/ fur...then it was me, and my friend was wearing a stupid tie dye long john outfit, and then later a tie dye shirt...I probably didn't notice if you yelled at me because I ride w/ my ipod on, and I just don't pay attention...hehe but nice to meet you too! We were rippin it up on Monday...I should be up friday and if not saturday morning so if your up find me!

I was up yesterday, I didn't see them! I hope they didn't fly off! Yeah it was my first time in boardercross too...it was crazy

I was at camel yesterday..and it was like 68 degrees out...I was riding in my t-shirt, it was rrrridiculous. But the snow was actually not bad at all, and neither were the jumps and we had like the hole park and most of the mountain to our selves.

I was up yesterday, and I didn't see any poka-dotted boxers!

4th..it sucked bad my brother came in 4th for the 19+ nahhh..I went riding instead of the award junk

The course was nutsssss...it was my first bordercross, and I ride everyday and I was buggging out, the girl who went in the heat infront of me hit the top rollers which were like \ so steep, and tight..and went f'ing f l y i n g..they had to take her out on a stretcher It was crazy <3 I'd so do it again anytime

Nah, I think I'm gonna go up to camel..but my brother is riding in the slope style tomorrow
