  1. I ordered some of that stuff and received it last week. I found it to be a complete hoax. I have tried several times to make snow with it, and all I ever get is a clear gel.
  2. d&d carpet in ga. ask for jason.
  3. I got my bag yesterday. I have not got the stuff to work yet. I have even tried mixing it at 50% water and still all it made was clear gel. I hope yours works better. The stuff I am using in my park is called sand fill, it is a type of outdoor carpet.
  4. Oh, in case you did not see the pics of when it was first completed... run #1 pics
  5. This is some testing we did on Friday evening. The rail is at it's lowest setting because the ramp is not finished yet. rail testing video
  6. It is a free site, so we are stuck with the banner. I agree though!
  7. I am trying to get the Shanghai Six Movie Premiere at Blue Mountain. If I can show enough interest it may get approved. I think it would be a lot of fun! It is also a great way for people to find out more about the Freeride Ski Program. Please go to www.freeriders.itgo.com click on WHATS NEW and enter your vote on the movie idea. The date of the movie is around the beginning of October so vote now!
  8. Ok, I made up a basic website for the program. Please check it out and make sure to vote on the movie premiere! www.freeriders.itgo.com
  9. Thanks to Justo8484 we have a nice looking poster going up at some skis shops this week. Keep a look out for the poster and if you have any questions please let me know!
  10. Email me with your information and I will send you a packet from the meeting.
  11. Ok, I was at the meeting today. The guy is not from out west, he is from up north. Nice guy, and seemed to know his shit. We talked about a LOT of things regarding terrain park and pipe. There are a lot changes that are going to be made over the next few seasons. Look for some stuff this season, and mabye some major stuff by next season. Almost every aspect of the current park/pipe setup will be changed in some way. There are a lot of challenges in designing a park on Sidewinder, it is just not a good layout. The bad news is we are stuck with Sidewinder, but the good news is that it will not look like it does for long. The pipe is not long for it's current position either. I may not be able to divulge anymore at this time. I am sure Kmar will get the scoop and fill in details anyway.
  12. For those of you that had expressed an interest, there is a Freeride Coaches meeting tomorrow evening at my place. Email me if you want more details.
  13. I just go back from the Jumping Event up at Lake Placid. I know there were other PA skiers and riders there besides me. If you were let me know what you were on and I will see if I have a pic or clip of your ramp jumps. Sorry, I was too busy to take tramp shots.
  14. Yes, all the major programs will be the same price.
  15. Ok, here are a few updates on the program: PRICE: $465.00 after 11/16/5 $420.00 before 11/16/5 I would suggest purchasing a season pass for this program if you do not already have one. The lift tickets alone would be around $800... which is almost twice the price of a season pass. Especially if you get your pass before 6/15/5. DATES: Start - December 17, 2005 End - February 26, 2006 Time - 9am to 1pm, Saturdays and Sundays REGISTRATION: On 12/17 we will need to meet at 8am to get everyone together and checked in. This will be the last possible time to get in the program. Ideally we would like to have most people registered by the beginning of December. is our starting date. The normal times for the program are 9am to 1pm on Saturday and Sunday running until February 26, 2006. STUDENTS: We will have AT LEAST 1 female instructor coaching in this program. We really want to make it as comfortable and as welcoming as possible for the girls! Send me a message if you are thinking about joining. COACHES: If you are interested in teaching in this program please sent me a message. The first coaches meeting is coming up soon. QUESTIONS: If you have ANY questions please send me a message, or post them on here if you think all can benefit.
  16. Anyone who is interested in teaching or learning in the program please send me an email. Yes, we will have class states so we can cut lift lines, although it would be nice to have a park lift. Sorry, as the signs say... NO INVERTS. Corks and the like are ok though. I will have some updates to post in the next few days.
  17. I am in need of some twin tip skis for water ramps and carpet parks. I would like something around 150-170 with bindings. I may actually need like up to 6 pairs for me and some friends. Of course I am looking for something cheap, like under $100 each setup. Since these will be beat on the condition really does not matter, other than I do not want ripped up edges. Contact me if you have anything you are looking to get rid of this month. Thanks!
  18. We have some decent talent on the coach list so far. But if our students can excel to a higher level then we were doing our job. Ok, so now I will start to use the spell check. What a mess my typing is today.
  19. Yes, we are also looking for instructors as well. Email me and I can fill you in on the details. I know it sounds like a lot at first, but if you break it down it is only like $5+ per hour of instruction. It would cost you at least $20 for a regular group lesson and $65 per hour for a private.
  20. This program is only for skiers. However Blue Mountain has had the same program for snowboarders for the past few years. They are basically the same, escept snowbaording does gates as well. The prices and lengths are the same as well. If you want I can get youin touch with the guy who runs the snwobaord freeride program. Just send me an email.
  21. I will chek with my boss and let you know what I find out about a limited ticket. The optimal class size would be 4-6, but it may go as high as 8 depending on the turnout.
