And, for the park rats we have the Nike 6.0 "Rep your Crew" Event on the 27th.
  3. As of right now there is really no lights out date. As the season progresses we will have a definitive date, I personally am hoping for the 30 inch storm the farmers almanac said we would get in march. They have been pretty close on all the other storms.
  4. A huge thanks to everyone that came out to the Gaper Day Railjam. In case you did not make it here are some pictures from the day. We plan on making this an annual event, so next year it will be bigger and better. Congrats to Mike Baker who won himself a new Burton Custom X
  5. oh yeah definately there will be trails left un groomed for you powder hounds...
  6. Just wanted to share some pics of the day. We had about 18 inches fall on us the past 24 hours. The night winds made for some great powder drifts on the side of some trails (In bounds though, please stay in bounds ). I should have a video of the day posted by tomorrow afternoon. If anyone has some more pics feel free to share.
  7. Just to remind you guys. The gaper rail-jam is tomorrow. Make sure you have your most haggard gear on, and the sweetest mix tape you made for your girl back in the day. See everyone tomorrow!
  8. Apologies to anyone who may have taken the wrong meaning from that. It was not meant to be condescending. I was actually quite inquisitive as to where the $800 came from.
  9. With the winds dieing down we have turned on the Sullivan Lift. That happened @ 11:15. Conditions are amazing!
  10. Just in case you havnt seen our 10/11 Season Pass Pricing here it is.... Also, POSSIBLE delayed opening is because the last thing we want is people to rush to the mtn to get those fresh powder runs. Not only do we stress safety here at the resort, we stress safety to and from our resort. So, with that in mind, we are open today under normal operating hours (9am - 9pm). Please be safe on the roads. I live in Easton and had to drive carefully on 22, 33, and 80. Come up and get those powder runs. Be safe driving.

GAPER (adj.,noun) A gaper is a skiier or snowboarder who is completely clueless. Usually distiungished by their bright colored clothes and a gaper gap, the gap between goggles and a helment/hat. Gapers also do the "Gaper Tuck" which is an attempt at being a ski racer by tucking, however, it is done incorrectly with the poles sticking straight up like thunderbolts and lighting, very very frightning! Gapers also sit at the bottom of jumps and try and go big off table tops in the park. 1. My eyes are burning from that gapers bright colored clothes. 2. I fell off the chair laughing at that gaper tuck. 3. Did you just see that gaper getting landed on because he was sitting at the landing of a jump.

  15. Camelback is 100% open and currently running the Sullivan and Stevenson. If the wind does pick up and we get gusts that are above the operating limits we will shut them down. We adhere strictly to the safety guidelines set forth by our people and the manufacturer. We would love nothing more that to run the quads non-stop, but the safety of our guests is at the forefront of our minds. We would rather have you complain at us ALL THE TIME, than put anyone that comes and visits us in danger. Enjoy the fresh snow everyone. Ross
  16. Will and our park groomer have spent countless hours getting the pipe ready to open. So, to celebrate, we are going to give some stuff away to those who can throw it down. The top three competitors from each age group will move directly to the finals to battle for podium position. Prizes are donated by The Loft, Camelback Mountain Resort and the Ski Shop Consignment Program. REGISTRATION IS $15 AGE GROUPS: TIMES: Groms
  17. Return visit vouchers were issued to anyone that came to Guest Services to recieve one. As far as the wind, it was blowing over galvenized steel barriers in our parking lots. We will suspend operations either until the wind dies down or the next day. The quads are the first to be suspended due to the fact that they are detachable chairs. The fixed grip lifts will get suspended if lift ops deems them to unsafe to ride.
  18. Here are a few pics of the park yesterday. Will and the crew were up late last night putting in more features and building the Burton Progression Park for those kids that want to get into freestyle in an amazing learning environment. I will update CBKActionSports.com with the new features list as soon as it lands on my desk. See everyone on the hill and be safe this holiday week.
  19. Hey Dime Marjies got delayed because ski patrol wanted the snow to dry a little bit before they let people on it. Its open now. Hope you got some runs in.
  20. There seems to be some confusion with our preferred lot. We have 1 preferred lot closest to the resort, for customers who enjoy the convenience of being able to secure a great spot. The rest of our lots a Camelback are free of charge. Just wanted to reiterate that in case people thought that you have to pay for parking at Camelback no matter what lot you are in.
  21. Yeah we do have one preferred lot that is closest to the resort for people who would rather just pay than walk. Keep in mind though that our closest free lot is still closer to the snow than most other resorts. And, if you park in the Sunbowl you are pretty much parking on the snow.
