I counted it - but doubt I will go back. Only real plus I can say is it was good to find out my daughter needed larger seasonal rental boots before we were somewhere further.

I bought the 6 pack ticket for $99 back on Black Friday.  Figured I would use them over the Summer as something to do.. hopefully less busy in the summer

  2. Hmmm, I was banking on Sunday..  might try to get there tonight ( but the wind?)

Unfortunately, I have to go into the office Saturday morning, but hopefully the vendor is done in time for me to drive to PA for an evening session.

...really need 2 more days this season to hit 40 days on snow (my personal record).. I could hit up Big Snow, but they don't really count :)

I've seen some comments like "stay safe out there". Like what? How am I supposed to "stay safe" on a chairlift except by not riding said chairlift?

I agree, for the most part we don't have a lot of choice in the matter.  However, I am one of the weirdos that prefers to pull down the safety bar. ( Probably my biggest gripe when forced to ride with another group when riding by myself as I don't want to intrude with pulling bat down.)

... But back your original statement, I have the same thought when people tell you to 'fly safe'.. ?? ,, Not really up to me...

I saw.  I don’t even think there is a local crispy cream. Honestly the government should have just handed out $100 bills at vaccine sites.

Im noticing that a lot of my elderly customers are making appointments now that they are fully vaccinated.  Some truly didn’t go anywhere for the last year.  Really been a terrifying time for elderly folks.

Yeah,, just googled Krispy Kreme locations.. there really are not many around( not even North Jersey) I always knew there was one in Scranton,, but did not know of any others.

  5. Imo,, and I'm no expert at all, but I would think someone would be at fault.. if not camelback for its operation than the manufacturer. If someone goes after camelback they will go after the manufacturer.  I can totally understand the silence from camelback, as mentioned I'm sure their legal depart has tight reins on all communication as they can't have someone say the wrong thing.  In today's times everything would be found and used.

In the end, I hope the 'assumed' family pulls through and recovers to their maximum ability.  The most important things right now are the injured and ensuring the lift is safe going forward.

I’ve always followed just because of living in the LV and my family friend wrestled for Lehigh so we always went to those matches and EIWAs. PSU was never a contender back then. I’m not loyal to any team but I enjoy watching local kids on the big mat this tournament. Sasso is from Nazareth and ended up as runner up tonight at 149.

Absolutely, LV is a hotbead. The Sasso match was tough.

I like how Iowa won the team title, but half of their team is from PA.

My parents always liked wrestling.  My parents went to Lock Haven College and I know they used to take me to matches as a kid( back when the PSAC schools all had good wrestling  programs).

In the end I'm a PSU fans in everything

Unbelievable that even going 4/4 they will end up team runner up. It’s been a great tournament to watch and PSU is still somewhat young. Ever since Sanderson got to PSU they have been beasts.

I was never a wrestling fan, but have grown to really enjoy,,( As a kid I played bball so we didn't like each other... Haha)

I think with PSU still being pretty young they didn't really capture the bonus points that put the over the top in past years.

Will be fun watching the next few years

That's what I did... chain hotels in Heber City/Midvale/Ogden with nice rooms and reasonable prices. Park City has lodging options nearby, but I don't think Brighton/Solitude or Snowbasin really have much of anything around them.

I think with the Big Cottonwood area, it would need to be an Airbnb.  Now Brighton does have a small 'motel' by the Crest lift, but I'm sure it is tough to get a room.

Nice.. Herber City!  Home of Cael Sanderson!... And I'm sure most people don't care, but PSU was/is dominant in the NCAA wrestling Finals tonight(4 for 4)

You survived 9 ski days in Utah so be happy for that. It’s much different skiing variable and steep western terrain on legs accustomed to 1 minute long groomers here.  Where did you stay out there?

    Thanks... appreciate it

I stay in various Marriot hotels in the Salt Lake City area(mostly Residence Inns so I have a cooktop and full fridge) .  I will usually stay a few days downtown, but normally in the Murray/Midvale/Cottonwoods Heights.

I'm thinking about trying to stay a few nights up at the resorts for next year's trip(s).

I’ve had extra long ski trips a few times.  How many days did you end up riding this trip?

This is my 9th day on snow this trip.

... I should learn by now, it has snowed the day I've been scheduled to fly out for all three of my Utah trips.. luckily I've been able to extend with little cost every time.

Legs are dead--never got into great shape this year--(goal for this off season).  This past summer and fall were tough with a busy work schedule and I got myself into probably the worst shape of my life!

  11. I think I just experienced age discrimination at Brighton today 🤔

As I went through a scanner for a lift a lady with an ipad approached me.  She asked me my age .. I hesitated (needed to do the math).... Sorry after a point I forget how old i am without thinking about it.  She asked me why I had to think about,, when I told her I was doing the math from 2020 to 1977,, she accused me of using someone else's pass!

    No, sorry I'm just stupid!

I’m at 15 hours and arm is sore and I’m a little out of it. I didn’t get sweaty but I’ve been peeing a whole lot throughout the night. I was expecting to be sick today so blocked out my schedule today and only have a haircut at noon and will do some work after that.

My parents got fully vaccinated in Saturday, one with J&J and one with 2nd shot of Pfizer. They both had no side effects.  I saw a recent article said that young people saw more side effects than older people with the vaccines (pretty interesting if true).  I know I was definitely 'out of it/rundown' after my second.

Those groomers off Milly will do that. Super fun. Though I didn't care for that one green run to skier's left as there's a big uphill segment, but I went through the woods instead and got around it.

I was even harder to make the uphill in the powder.  That is the nice thing about Milly, from what I've seen they always leave it completely ungroomed after snow.  The first two runs I was able to find completely untouched areas pretty following skiers left to the bottom.

That lift is nice. There were never long lines there in my 2 days. Now Crest Lift on the other hand sucks.

Right now, nothing is busy.. 10am and the parking lot is only 2/3 full, stark contrast from Friday and Monday.  Heading over to Crest now,, got four runs in off Milly and my thighs are screaming
