Last week or so Radio Shack had one in their flyer for $99.

I thought the same thing, but it really wasn't. The only way it was bigger was the fact that it had more trails. They have lots of acerage but the mountains elevation isn't that high.

So I finally got around to getting my pics off my digital camera. Here are pics of Seven Springs in Champion, PA. These pics were taken off the hotel balcony located on the base of the mountain. Although I never got to ski it because I arrived too late, the place is just a hair smaller than BC in height but they have a wide variety of trails. They have what they call natural trails which they use when they have enough snow from mother nature. When they have all their normal trails open whith the natural trails I believe they have a total of 45 runs. For those who like bumps, the bumps here are like no other and they have bump runs on the sides ofseveral trails. The only downside to the place is the fact that I think they overcharge for what they have. Its just a little smaller than BC I would say but they charge the same amount as blue, cb, or elk. It was on BC, they may still have it on their website if you click on "more news" it was there yesterday when I went to look.

Well if we know Papa is going to go, one of us who goes to blue regularly can give him directions on the back roads to avoid the 22 traffic.

Here we go again another thread turning into cars . But since we are on it my uncle the mechanic always says Doge is junk. Kind of funny that was one of the first things my cousin learned to say. Kind of backfired on us when she told someone at the Schnecksville Fair who was driving a Dodge Durango "Dodge Junk".

Yeah they have it on Sundays and Thursdays.

I know I probably won't make it for Thursday, but if I go on Sunday I may take a few runs on NASTAR, just have to get that release form signed.

A helmet with vents that you can adjust. Also one that is very lightweight and that you don't even know you are wearing. Helmets can be expensive, I paid $80 for mine with a coupon. Without my coupon it was $130.

Sometimes I have the urge to try stuff in the park. Except I don't want to wreck my skis and I have no idea how to do anything.

Whenever we drive out towards Harrisburg on 78, the moutains look like a great place to put a ski area because there really is no skiing from Harrisburg into the Lehigh Valley until you get to BC. Of course it wouldn't be as big as the Pocono's but it would help spread out the traffic.

The lift is either a 6 passenger lift or a quad. It looks different because it has a cover that comes down to protect you from the cold and the falling snow.

Yeah I noticed this too today. They usually have one at BC but it looks like they put one at blue this season.
