  1. Bummed that I missed closing day when it was so nice but I'm glad you all got to enjoy it. My mom had us over for brunch and as much as a love the parking lot food, I'll never turn down her homemade scones and quiche 👌

Also happy to report that in infamous Beau sends his best and is hoping to be back next season!

Ah bummer, but there is still time.

The whole zone off of the JP lift on lookers right is a lot of fun just stay in bounds or it is a long walk back. Strawberry is also a ton of fun on the opposite side with some great shots down into Sister's. The whole place is a hoot. Enjoy.

What other areas are in Carbon County? I'm sure it doesn't include Elk so the only contender would be Camelback.

Nothing wrong with Blue as a ski area. It's just too crowded for my taste during peak skiing times 10-2 non work days. But crowds are a sign of an otherwise good product.

Currently at PHL airport, flight leaves around 8 30.  Having a roast pork sandwich and victory brotherly love ipa.  Plan is Brighton tomorrow, powder mountain Wednesday and Thursday and snowbasin Friday.   Flight lands at 1 am so getting up for a possible powder day and driving up should be interesting

Brighton just hot 700" for the year. Insane snow out there. Enjoy!

Looking like Blue will remain open daily through the 26th and might open the following weekend.  They did a good job covering up alot of the brown and only lost nightmare to dreamweaver…that run is challenging to keep covered it has a stream that runs under it.  They plan on blowing tonight and it’s dry and cold..they might blow Monday night as well then it gets warm..high of 68 Thursday for Allentown..thursdays have been the warmest day this season it seems.

It is impressive to see how long they have made it considering the season we have had. Just another reason why Blue is the best ski area in all of Carbon County, regardless of what Ski2liv says.

Brighton might be my favorite place.  if its not, its right up there.  I would love to get back to snowbird, and for that matter snowbasin too.  if for nothing else than to go to the bathroom there.

Brighton is a gem. Way more fun than it really should be based on the size. I do love it there and it has such a good vibe too.

Rode this morning,  saw BFG and root from the lift.  They blew all over last night and coverage has improved. They were blowing on Vista,  Coming soon and the top gun on challenge when I was there.

Crowds were non existent and the wind was strong but nothing crazy.  Everything other than razors was a nice winter like carpet that was generally fast and had good grip. Coming Soon in particular had that super nice spongy fresh blown and you could full speed arc down the lower headwall.

Who knows but hopefully all this blowing means they will be open next week.

The new snow blown on Coming Soon has consistently been the best on the mountain for the last two years now. Whatever guns they put there need to be used more often.

Alas. At least we still have Frost, Hunter, Okemo, Snow, Stowe, Sunapee, Wildcat, Vail, Breck, BC and Keystone to ski. Planning on another month of turns and hoping to make it my 2nd most days yet in a Skison.

Was considering giving Blue a go Friday for $45, but sounds like they got crap from this storm. Will likely hit Frost or Hunter instead.

Ah bummer. I was going to give you my buddy pass if you went Friday. Maybe next time.

Cool to see they are leaving money on the table while all the PA hills with one or two mountain passes are gouging folks.

You’re not even good at being a troll.
