Anybody who wants to race is welcome to challenge me (or any other PASR) in this thread and we'll see who hits the finish line first. *not really but I figured if I got you angry first you'd be more into showing up for a race
  3. I'm gonna go make a chinese downhill thread.
  4. All boards new in wrap, 08/09 models. I have ONE (1) DH 155 Effective Edge (mm): 1183 Waist Width: 252 Sidecut Radius: 8050 Tip Width: 294 Tail Width: 294 Insert Location: Center Stance Range: 21 I have ONE (1) DH 159 Effective Edge (mm): 1234 Waist Width: 254 Sidecut Radius: 8300 Tip Width: 298.4 Tail Width: 298.4 Insert Location: Center Stance Range: 22 I have ONE (1) DH2 153 NO INFO AVAILABLE I think this is just a DH designed for riders with bigger feet but then again I am a big dummy who won't use google to find out if this is true. I have ONE (1) Dose 159 Effective Edge (mm): 1234 Waist Width: 261 Sidecut Radius: 8300 Tip Width: 305.4 Tail Width: 305.4 Insert Location: Center Stance Range: 22 I also have a few women's boards but I'll get the info on them later. PRICES All of the boards listed retail for $449.99, I'm selling them for $275 FLAT. This is most likely a better price than you will find at the end of this season/early next season. If you want more information feel free to go to ridesnowboards.com and check out graphics or flex patterns or whatever. I accept CASH or MONEY ORDERS only, if you want to write me a personal check that's fine but you're going to have to wait until the check clears for me to send the board. I am prepared to ship these boards as soon as I receive payment so if you see something you want post as soon as possible OR send me a message on AIM, my username is DHarrisburg (ignore the mobile status). I'm also putting these up on the Salt Lake Craigslist tomorrow at $300 each and I'd like to think that they're going to go quick, here is an opportunity to get an awesome board at a good price just for being a PASR member. Oh, and this deal is only good if you have more than 200 posts or if your name isn't Robert2.

Just because the law changed doesn't mean that bars stopped pouring shitty drinks.

There are plenty of bars that don't require a membership, beer served at 95% of bars is 3.2% unless you are buying cans at a place that has a special licence, all shots and mixed drinks in Utah are 1 oz of alcohol measured by a clicker placed on each bottle but the prices are still the same, it's a felony to have a keg without a licence, the only place you can get non-3.2% beer, alcohol, or wine outside of bars is state liquor stores that close at 9PM (10 on Friday and Saturday) and are closed on Sunday, and I've never seen anyone hassled for having a drink on a dancefloor. Not that any of this really matters but I figure I'd set the record straight.

    Crash Pads

Guys don't forget to always wear clean underwear when you ride because you could fall and get brain damage and could you imagine what it would be like when the nurse has to take off your skidmarked undies??????????????????????
  10. Probably because 95% of the people demoing the boards don't care about wether or not the board is waxed. They're more concerned with flex patterns and how the boards ride, not how fast they can go down a hill.
  11. ahahahahahahahahahahahaha oh plus that "part time kid" has probably forgotten more about snowboards that you'd ever know.
  12. I don't sweat because I don't wear hundreds of dollars of unnecessary layering when I go ride. Two quick things; one reason why you probably think everyone keeps trying to sell you "the most expensive board" is because the type of board you are looking for typically costs more than your traditional park board. It'd be like shopping for cars and thinking that everyone is trying to upsell you when you want to buy a sportscar. The second thing is I'd like to point out that you're talking to a lot of people who have much, much more experience and knowledge when it comes to the topics being discussed. There are plenty of people on this board who ski or snowboard 100+ days a season in places that have more than a 600 foot vertical drop. We've experienced almost every type of weather condition. Going into the lodge to warm up next to the fire is not an option and paying hundreds of dollars to get a locker at the resort is just plain silly so we plan ahead and know how to dress. I'd be willing to bet that you singlehandedly outspent most of us COMBINED when you compare money spent on base layers.
  13. guys you are doing it all wrong if you don't buy the same name brand product as me you will freeze FACT

    Crash Pads

Just FYI rollerblade wrist guards are atrocious and will break your wrist in a worse way if you fall on them the right way.
  15. Well guys I guess I better just get out of this thread, I mean, when it comes to gearing up for the absolute tundra that Pennsylvania is during the winter it is blatantly apparent that I am a complete noob and obviously I need to do some research on Patagonia's new space age materials that will never degrade, rip, or otherwise fall apart during my lifetime. Everyone knows that doing research on the internet is a complete impossibility and obviously the only factor that comes into play with snowboards that cost more than $200 is purely name brand recognition and has nothing to do with construction quality, materials, or technology. I guess you could call me a "gaper" if you wanted.
  16. Oh. Oh and if you spend $225 on base layers then you need to stop worrying about how much money you're going to save by going to Army Navy.
  17. Nope. If this guy is for real I've read more than enough bullshit in the two threads he's started to know that he's King Douchebag who knows nothing and is severely offended when you call him on it. Anyone who willingly wastes shop employee's time only to take their newfound knowledge to an ARMY NAVY so they can think they're saving money is a douche. The best part about this whole debacle is that if this guy would actually take time out to talk to a decent salesperson they'd probably end up with a better board for less money. Oh well. P.S. Santa doesn't know what he's talking about
  18. They're awesome and have a LIFETIME warranty.
  19. This is pretty funny considering I just re-read all the Sno 22' pipe threads the other night. Too bad Ski doesn't post here anymore, I'd love to hear him spin this one.
  20. Nile Mile would make an awesome jib run.
  21. P.S. with the exception of putting a hairline fracture in my kneecap there last year BB is the best terrain park in the tri-state area.
