Ive had people tell me that they have demoed (sp?) boards before and they said that its really cool how you can ride it before you buy it. I've been looking into this skate banana thing and I would like to know how I could demo one. P.s. if anyone is willing to sell me a used skate banana for between 200-300 bucks id be interested. I just want to have an extra board thats fun to ride

I kinda wanna see the new wallride they have from last year back out. It was so sick last year when it was mellow and I wanna see it at the end of tubing again or like at the end of blackbear where they used to put those big quarterpipes

if they do put in snoflex they should put in in A ) the halfpipe B ) where the old entrance to cascade is and around to the skiers right of cascade C ) cut a new place to put it

They can prolly work the park pas thing out next year when they have a quad in place of the old double. They could just make passes that are good for that lift only.

What happened to the halfpipe that was supposed to be open on thursday? I know rain played a part but from the looks of the webcam it looks like before they tried to blow a ton of snow into it

I think you should have to go over a big mofo booter with a shark tank right after the lip of the jump so if you ride over it your screwed.....

Alright my bad, im not trying to get verbally raped, i just was trying to get a point across by agreeing that they should look into having a guy up top who tries to keep people out of the park that arent supposed to be there or maybe just someone that should try to explain smartstyle to these people. I still don't get why all of these gapers think that they are so smart and they wont just agree to go away. Its prolly just because they have the mindset that they paid to be here so why should they have to leave. Also, I think that they could have some of the snowboarding ski patrollers ask people to leave because they aren't following smartstyle, but not go like nazi, just particularly the families that are riding over the jumps, standing in the landings, etc.

They make the hotel to make money off of the people that arent park rats and they overprice it to get more stuff, but honestly when you are in the line for the lift, what do you see more of snowboarders and freestyle skiers or the people looking to ride some fresh pa powder

Yeah that was kind of a dumb statement on my part, what i meant to say was that like 75% of their regular population is park rats and it would attract more people like us if they paid a guy minimum wage to sit at the top and sort out those who arent supposed to be in the park Also, most of the snowboard patrollers are nice as can be. Its just some of the older patrollers that ski that seem to have somethin up their ass

They were checking passes and faces on season passes yesterday on a weekday, so maybe they saw this and are now goin to check passes a lot

Yesterday I was there again during the day (thanks to the teachers strike) and it was a pretty good day. The snow was good up until probably 4:30-5 like everyday. the jumps were nice in blackbear and cascade. The top jump in tubing was okay, but it needs a steeper landing and it was too slow of a day to even it the bottom jump without knuckling hard as a mofo. The park crew was out most of the day re-shaping and fixing stuff so props to them. But they didnt fix the bleacher box which has no snow under it and you can get your board caught if you dont pull up or hit it from the left side where there actually is snow.

Well we all know that bear creek gets a good 75% of their money from park rats. If they put a guy up top getting a little above minimum wage telling all of the gapers to get out of the park, I personally think that they bring in a ton more people from other mountains who want to ride a gaperless park. B.C Ironworks could even have a new slogan " riding in a gaper free park"

yeah I heard 60 from one of my buddies who is pretty trustable, but I was wondering where they measured from cause it seemed a little long

yeah my bad I was talking about them on tuesday during the daytime, when the snow was nice and fast because of the rain(and that was the first day I ever hit the 60 footer). As for today, the top tubing jump was ok but it was a little slow so you would sometimes kind of knuckle. with the second jump the snow was too slow too even hit it. I just think the landings need to be steeper .

Yeah please don't change anything in the tubing jump line. I just got the feel for both of those jumps and there is no need to change them
