i dont find any problem riding around features. I was actually thinkin to myself the other day that if they put a one or two of the jibs a couple feet towards the edge of the trail they could put in another jib or two
I'm pretty damn sure they didn't sell it. I remember coming up for my first day this season and seeing it near the ski patrol building and thinking why the hell do they still have that thing. but yeah that would be insane if they cut it just right
In cascade i would like to see
- lego block with handrail off OR small jump
-long down box
-actually shape up the quarter pipe so you can air it
-something simple-ish and small but still creative
the only jump that i truly liked today was the first one in tubing. conditions weren't too bad but there was some spots that either the snow that was blown came out as slippery ice or something and there were spots that were really hard from all of the previous ice. other than that i just kinda screwed around with a buddy i haven't seen in a while. deff trying to take it easy after last night
I have 6 little wall hooks i picked up at lowes one day and nailed em in and i keep all 3 of my boards above my desk. Gets em out of the way and looks pretty damn cool too
Who's gonna be there? Im not staying for the night. But i think tomorrow might be a fun little screw around day. I'll be there from opening till about 2-3. Hopefully the mountain wont be too beat up from the warm front.
just got back from a so-so sesh. nice conditions up until about 4, jumps were alright. landings were ok. I couldnt seem to get landings on lock today, i felt like i just kept washing out every single time, probably just me and not the landings fault. I landed a couple frontflips though, so that made my day. They really need a snowmaking night soon
