Ski Posted February 18, 2005 Report Posted February 18, 2005 I was all prepared for some lift lines today at Montage. But I parked along the fence next to the lift at 9am for her to race, then we left to get her to school. I came back at 1pm to catch the afternoon course and parked in the same place. Not a big money start to the weekend... Man, was it butt freaking cold with that wind today.

I was talking to Ski patrol, and they were saying they were still blowing on it when they opened the mountain, and didn't groom it, cause my first run down, 3 fresh inches of light, man made snow. Sure it's not real stuff, but it was something fluffy, and something to sink your skis into, then 1/2 way down it was back to hard, grippy snow, great for arc'ing
