Up to 8 ft. snow in Catskills - Plattekill

Some pics from Plattekill. A female skier was texting on her cell phone and fell over the side of a trail and was trapped in snow up to her eyeballs.

Agreed! Somebody texting could easily catch an edge, and go off trail, slam into a tree and be killed instantly or paralized.

wow that must have been scary, she's lucky her head didn't go under. Doesn't even look like she fell in a tree well....

those skis look like race skis..anyway anybody hear anything about possible snow Tuesday into Wednesday???
