... though if you were actually interested in the park name, you might be more inclined to want a pass there.

a free season pass to anywhere is good.. BC is definitly all about the park. I found a BC thread on newschoolers that is 10 pages long of mostly positive comments.

haha oh yeah that was a good thread. we are really pushing for the park because our verticle sucks so we know we cant out-do people on regular skiing runs. be ready for the park next year, we have a lot of skiers making plans for the park.

they do ability levels with their comps. no ages. you ski in your ability level. for skiers there was just intermediate and advanced last year. kids who skied intermediate but really should have been advanced definately were not looked upon kindly.

My bad, sorry I revived this thread for some reason and had forgotten what I had asked.. Question? How is determined what skill level you are at in freestyle?

If i was you i would put steven in the intermediate group just because he is younger. Say there is a 20 years old throwing smooth cork 9 and stuff like that and steven is doing his thing. He is good, but not to that level yet.

you determine what level you want to be in. there was a kid last year who definately should not have been in the intermediate division, but was anyway. some people werent so happy. and yeah, steve would probably be in the intermediate division just because of his age, little chris is about the same level ability wise but he was in the intermediate division. its kinda funny, he's so light he cant carry enough speed to make it over the rainbow box.
