Mess Posted March 5, 2015 Report Posted March 5, 2015 This storm is screwing up my Trip to Okemo. We were supposed to leave earlier today but the snow just kept coming. Thinking about driving halfway up tonight. How are the roads up in Lehigh valley. Looking to take 78 to 287. Can salvage my ski day tomorrow if I can make it to New Paltz.

Mess Posted March 6, 2015 Author Report Posted March 6, 2015 We are going to head up tomorrow after the sun hits the roads. We will ski saturday and Sunday. We need to find a hotel room for Saturday.
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted March 6, 2015 Report Posted March 6, 2015 Just leave stupid early tomorrow...this weekend is gonna be crowded everywhere with snow in this the big cities. Sun on the roads will mean nothing tomorrow AM gonna be below zero. I just went on Orbitz and no lodging Saturday night in Ludlow..you can always find lodging in Rutland which is a half hour away. Pretty much just the Rodeway Inn and Highlander motel are the cheap options as the days inn Rutland is $349 a night...high season in Vermont ain't cheap. Another option for lodging is Springfield VT or Bellows VT both close to I-91.
