Are bears comps fun?? are they good to compete in?? ive never been in one and wonderd if i could get some info for me and my friend.

 

Bear Creek every other thursday night will be the place to be in Jan and Feb.. for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!

the talent is well above that of any other local comp, thats for sure. and the judges are actually fair. chuck does a good job running the show there.

 

If RT isn't considered local, well then OK...

if rountop is cosidered local, my statement still stands. ben's cork 9 tail is propably the best looking, smoothest trick i have ever seen anyone from around here land. oh yeah, alleyoop 5 critical on the QP was pretty solid too. boyer and andy have way more balls than most people too. we had a rail session the other night on a flat down box, double switch up 270 out, blindside switchup 450 out, nollie on 270 out, just to name a few tricks that people did. we can hold our own.

bears comps are the best around. even if you dont enter, at least go that weekend. the setups are in the best condition with the biggest hits and the best people in the area riding them.

My friend Tyler did the showdown comp last season. If I remember correctly I think he took second in his age group (I think they went by age goups).

yeah they are always really competitive, prol some of the best comps around with some of the best talent in both skiing and boarding... deff consider coming out the the showdown
