WE HAVE CHILDREN THAT ARE WANTING TO TAKE SKI LESSONS FOR THE FIRST TIME AND WE WOULD ALL LIKE TO GO TUBING. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHERE TO GO? JACK FROST? BIG BOULDER? CAMELBACK? As of right now for skiing/riding I would definatley recomend Jack Frost/Big Boulder. A ticket at either mountain is also good at the other for that day. The snow is good there, there are more trails open and it is less expensive than Camelback which has been getting some bad reviews this year. (There are a number of threads about what they've done.) Unfortunately as of right now neither Boulder or Frost has a tubing park open. Things may change between then and now but to go snowtubing camelback is your only place. AtomicSkier Posted January 2, 2007 Report Share Posted January 2, 2007 Hopefully by MLK the mountains will still be open, let alone with more trails, but by then ever place should be up and running with tubing/etc, so it pretty much doesn't matter where you go.
