its gunna be 14 or 15 if you count the ones that are open now, and the ones they are blowing on, and they're all mostly greens, 1 diamond...haha, i won't mentioned how blacks/double blacks blue will have open after tomororw :naughty

Yeah 16-18 = 3-4 decent runs. So, its really not as good as it sounds.

Yeah they will have probably tut, marjies, bitches, marc, nile mile, open, as the only trails you would 'want to ski'...Even tho some of them I wouldn't really 'want' to ski on (bitches, marc).

Anyway Tut and Marjies will be great for noob gate training :D

I think it is, and I think they have been blowing on it.

Makes a lot of sence tho, cause it would spread people over 2 lifts. Also I think they have ceaser open, so that takes care of most of teh crossbacks

I was up there today, and they were blowing on that side of the mountain, but not on nile. I'll have to check the CB conditions page.

Unless they dont lose any snow when it rains i dont see how they could get 16-18 trials open by next week. :)

I think they are all set with the trails...Have enough factoring in all the rain...They just need to groom it all out and are set to go.

I think the rain is ging to be light up there. The Rain might turn to snow up at that elevation So I dont Think there is alot to be affaird of

i see 16 trails being open but i doubt nile will be. that trail requires a LOT of snow. it would be cool to see it open but who knows. i just can't wait till they can have the big three(nile, cliffy, pharoh) open on the east side. too bad cliffy is usually last to open.

I like the whole east side, aside from everyone getting pushed through the green (I think its Julius Caesar), that side of the mountain is less crowded, has better trails, and is longer. I'll spend usually 3 or 4 times more time over on the east then the west, when its open that is. I even park over, nothing beats parking 30 feet from the slopes and walking straight on, well maybe having walk on housing :o

I do like the east side alot too. Cliffy is great, just cause its cliffy. Nile mile is great to cruse on, do drills, go down in a DH tuck (:jk rangers), Pharow...Well that can get really nasty conditions, which can get to the point where its like a rollercoaster to ski...Take the first turn super tight, and ski down the left side of the headwall...Good run.

Only problem is there is never enough snow on the top of pharow....Always getting thin spots

Pharoah is probobly my favorite coarse at CB when its in decent condition. It does get really nasty though all the time. Even so, its a really good trail.

Yes most people have a love hate relationship with that trail...and good for me (and you) most of the time most people hate it, which means there are less people on it, which is always nice :)

I don't know that many people (no one) that hates that trail. Just people who can't ski/ride it because its steep and gets nasty. Honestly its much harder on a bad day than any of the blacks, with the possbile exception of the the hump, but even that gives up after a few seconds. Pharoah at least keeps its pitch for a resonable amount of time.

Probably because the fall line tends to throw you to the right and that's where it gets chopped up by the skiers and boarders who don't belong there.

Maybe, I hug the left side through the whole trail generally. There are bumps on the left as well, but maybe not as bad.

The Pharoh is a nice trail. If you hang a sharp right after the first part right at the end of the fence it is a nice steep drop, and if you are lucky som nice powder, The rest of the trail is fun and it runs out into the bactrain, which is a nice cruser run.

i love flying down pharoah right into bactrain. one of my favorite runs. but yeah pharoahs condtions do suck about 90% of the time. i don't think there is much they can do about it because of the way the trail was cut.

when there gets to be a decent amount of snow on pharoh on the side. over by the light there is a little rockface that drops 10 feet. you gotta have a lot of speed to hit it though

Nile is great to lay some huge arcing turns down. Only problem is those blind turns make it impossible to see rangers before you're doing mach 10 around them. Whenever I see yellow coming around a turn there, a string of unmentionable profanities run through my head.
