Since Ray passed away it's really hard to figure out if anyone is going to be there in the summer. He was always strict about making sure your open when your supposed to be open. I stopped up around three o'clock a couple of times (took off of work early) and it was a ghost town up there. Maybe they're trying to save money on wages so they can build a new slope!....... LMFAO!!!!!

It's not like security is worth a damn. I remember skiing the day the Steelers played the Seahawks in the Superbowl There was like fifty people tailgating in the parking lot in front of the sliding doors. I think a change of venue might do yous some good

Damn right it ain't worth 50 bucks to ski in shit! Thats why I slip the ticket checks a 20 (straight cash hommie) and they let me slide right through!

Razors was clean and fast! The entrance to the sixpack (which broke down) looked like somebody knocked a porta-poti over and kicked it around.

Don't know if any body was out but razors was groomed and it held up really nice. Probably the nicest it's been in weeks. The rest of the mtn was sugar.

IMO the parks and rail have been in pretty good shape this year. The Park Cru is usually always working on something, and it's not like in past years with one doing work and the others watching.

Great....... I love paying all that money to ski on shit! And all that natural snow was gone a long time ago! They made snow every other year. Hope the season passes are good for the waterpark! The only place that theres that much snow is the Park. And there is a ton of it there.

Is it just me or does it seem like the snow is melting awful fast? Last few time I've been up it's been like skiing on mashed potatoes! The snow has been really dirty and (correct me if I'm mistaken) they haven't blown any real amount of snow in about a month. I have a feeling that if they don't make a move soon we are going to have an early close.(this would suck!!!)

I thought pipe's were for smoking?

Stopped by the shack with my little nephew they said we had to purchase tickets in the lodge. Maybe they just didn't want to work. I'll try again next time. Thanks

I agree...but it looks like they're going west instead. Seems they think Blue is gonna be some destination water park. At least they can't screw up the grooming at a water park!

I haven't seen anybody use it yet! Kinda dumb you have to pay inside and not on the slope to hit it.

Elks has real nice terrain (more challenging than Blue). And the lodge and bar are way better than Blues. But their lifts suck IMO compared to the ones at Blue. And the food is better at ELK.

I guess it was a good day to close it. I'm guessing their wasn't too many people on the slopes to bitch.

Did they close the park to the public? If so how long?

There is somebody new in charge of rentals, the new guy probably doesn't know how to fix the lockers. Or doesn't care. Instead of going to the ticket office or customer service go right to the General Manger's office (located between the two) that worked for me last year when the locker stole my money and wouldn't give me a key. I noticed the same thing earlier this year. Like every other locker was messed up. Why don't they have a courtesy bag check like they do ski check? This would solve a lot of problems.
