terrible news at Gilson Ski/Snowboard overnight.

nothing online yet, just broke, huge fire overnight. place is 'gutted'

Reminds me of a popular fiberglass kayak maker in West Virginia a number of years ago. At the end of the day he left a pot of mixed epoxy on the workbench. It cooked off and burned down the shop. Never did get back in business.

There was a large rock in the wood pile that husband hit. So we can’t do any more till he sharpens the blade.

Get a rechargeable dremel with a chain sharpening bit. Makes it a lot easier to frequently sharpen. A lot of dirt on those logs, probably.

I tried these this morning. I’m, wow, I suck. 😂. Especially the bad knee. Amazing how after 8 months there is still a strength deficit.

Took me 18 months after my tibia plateau fracture to get back to 100% in strength and stability.

It'll be interesting come the 27 when the "deal" goes to the rail workers for a vote.

I know some rail workers and they're not happy with the deal, as it doesn't address the needs that they wanted addressed, mainly work/life balance.

What's likely to happen is that the workers will vote no and say they're gonna strike, which will be sent back to congress who'll say FU, no strike, get back to work, you get what you get.  Warren Buffet and other railroad execs will win in the end.

Will be interesting to watch the chess game play out.

The points system for time off sounds pretty horrific for workers.

According to his app which isn’t accurate.  C1 said he went like 60mph at JF and I pass him like he’s standing still.

I thought I saw something whiz by me every once in a while, but it was going too fast for me to really see it. 😀

That’s refrigerant piping DO NOT Cut!
The large line is the vapor line and sweats like crazy. Wrap up the exposed copper and the problem should go away, if it doesn’t have someone check the system out, could be a number of things.

There should be a drain line from the collection pan underneath the unit going outside, usually discharging underground. There should also be a second line set a little bit higher in the pan from the first line that discharges where you can see it. If that second line starts dripping, then you know the first line is plugged.

Is varnish boomer slang for hot ladies?

Those too, but in case you were serious, varnish is that dark coating to the rocks formed by minerals, a lot of petroglyphs were created by scratching away the varnish to show the lighter rock.

Hot boater ladies were referred to as women in rubber back in the days of wet suits. Now dry suits are much less interesting.

I remember charting everything on paper. When we went to computer I didn’t think I’d ever be able to learn it. Now when the computers are down, it causes widespread panic. And my writing is horrible anymore.

Overhead transparencies with stick on colored films, press on letters, and those 1/16 inch wide colored tapes that were flexible enough to go around bends for corporate management presentations. Exacto knives and Kohinoor pens.

One of my projects from the early 90s was to digitize our library of engineering drawings into AutoCAD. Some of the old drawings from the early 1900s were genuine works of art.

    Fucking tools.

You can make data say anything you want. Liars, damned liars, and statistics.

My experience, after 50 years of wearing masks and PPE in the industrial chemical industry, leads me to see the value in them.

Although I do agree that cloth masks are worthless, and put electrostatic inserts in from the start of the pandemic

    TTFN.

Lol Vox, I posted a NY Times study while you posted a source founded by Matt ygelias lol.

”We don’t believe you, you need more people!  Rocafella students of the game, we passed the class cause nobody could read you dudes like we do!” -JayZ

Your chart appears not to be a NYT study, but rather created by well known anti mandate author Ian Miller, who said he based it on NYT data. If he massaged the data to get the results he wanted is unknown.
