JF closing today, but BB will remain open 9-4 all week due to better conditions. Haven’t been there in several years.

Challenge closed, Lazy pretty sketchy, DW/NM open. They pushed the snow on Falls down to Homestretch. Razors is nice.

Saw the ski patrol take the poles down once the barrier was up. Thought at the time they were bringing up some groomers to start fixing it. A week before I was up at Stowe a snowboarder wound up upside down in a similar pothole in some closed glades. Not so lucky as the one yesterday.

Poor @BillyG011 and was there a rope across the entrance to Nightmare or just a closed sign?
Big orange rope.

Big pothole on Nightmare Dreamweaver, where they put the new drainage line in at the bottom of the top headwall. Initially the ski patrol blocked off the jump, forcing people to go on the slot to the left. But I think they were getting too close to the pole even then, so they closed the run. Hopefully they’ll do some maintenance and reopen it tomorrow.
Nice day, gave the people on the quad a show second to last run, sliding on my butt down Falls, fortunately not a yard sale. They ran Challenge lift for a few minutes, but never opened it. Chute was in good shape as well as most of Lazy (some gravel starting to show midway).

I saw on Facebook that they seeded bumps on razors edge…
Nice reports..I had a lot of work today..and tomorrow a 10am a 1pm and a 2pm…maybe Friday AM for me or not till the weekend…I think they’re gonna make the weekend woo hoo
Yes, skiers right side down first headwall. Need some skier work to round them out. Wonder if they will groom out TCS, or call it until next year.

Razor’s headwall was really soft and getting bumped up, but was the price you had to pay for the sweet, sweet ice starting half way down the trail.

Isn't that Donny from Sunday River ? Dude rips in real life and I for one dig his whole dealio
Came in 4th in men’s moguls 2018 Olympics. His technique is to keep the foot all the way in the front of the boot.

A lot of people flail their poles and snowplow the bumps, so your mistake is understandable. 😂

Razors and NMDW were nice. Had to turn on top of the bumps on CS cause the troughs were ice. Sky top and Curzi’s cabin closed (had to go through terrain park to get to Chute. Not much of a crowd. Maybe JF tomorrow.

They underestimated how much abuse their customers can put up with. 😂

Razors left side was my ROTD. Right side was still icey when I called it a day. Made the mistake of TCS as first run.

They could but they’d lose money.
JF has a lot less manpower requirement to open.

Oh Ed Sullivan was before Letterman I think…back in the Grease and Saturday night fever days when John Travolta and Olivia Newton John were stars of the silver screen and before Elton John was gay. Good times.
We have a really big shew tonight, with Topo Gigo, the talking mouse.

Nice enjoy, are you staying in your RV? Also stowe is barely supposed to get any rain tomorrow so you might luck out. 5 degrees Friday morning. Brrrr but warming up fast.
No, we did that several years ago at the KOA near Whiteface, got 3 foot of snow and are still traumatized from it.

Out with the grandkids today. Got there at noon, it was starting to clear out. Parked slope side close to lodge. Lodge not at all crowded. Half dozen runs on the beginner chair. Ready to ski with leashes next time. French fries and hot chocolate afterwards. Good time had by all. Watched the kids in the lodge while mom and dad did adult ski.

There are a few small easily avoided thin spots. Same slow speed, but you won’t get splinters from the chairs. Might see you there tomorrow late morning. No need to get there first thing.
