Your best bet other than Boulder would probably be Mount Snow. Otherwise Killington or Okemo is never a dissapointment both of their websites tell you exactly what they have set up on their main parks. If you feel like going a couple hours further than Stowe. Stratton also just held the U.S. Open. I went to it in the very early 2000's and if I remember right they left the competition setups up for the public afterwards. I barely ride park up north though, there so much more natural fun to be had in the trees that we can't have here in PA.

Same thing that swept through here lasted about 30-45 min it was nuts. I hope the Cameldome kept it safe.

Shawnee has an interesting crowd of people mostly weekend warriors from the city that constantly visit shawnee and some locals from the bushkill/marshalls creek area. I learned how to snowboard there in the late 90's & held a pass for two seasons. I remember visiting Camelback for the first time after having learned at Shawnee as as a young buck I thought Camelback was a real giant mountain one of the best on the east coast lol!

Partly cloudy with a slight chance of thunderstorms. High 52F. Winds ENE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 30%. We all knew they werent gonna open today, it's Camelback they're afraid of rain and dread lightning oh well at least theres still options.

Did nips win the alien invasion today? The skier competition looked pretty close between nips and a couple others the dude in the red shirt and the dude in the white greenish jacket.

Today was their last day believe it or not, they outlasted most of the mountains in PA.

They said on the snowphone today they plan to be 100% for this weekend. They've been closing random trails here and there during the week to preserve snow for the weekends.

Yeah I heard the same mountain biking rumor, I think if the hotel ever does really go in that might be the end of Camelback as we've grown to love it. With the weekends being as crowded as it is adding a hotel for people to stay at as well is going to make it even crazier without any additional terrain/lifts. I pray that the hotel dosn't make the weekdays crowded. As far as skier/rider improvements I think they did an amazing job this year as far as the terrain park side of things go grooming maintaining and the new features they purchased from planet snow. The preferred parking is BS and your right about the beer prices it's nuts I always just bring my own AtomicSkier & Staff: If you want please feel free to clean up this thread of my conversation with poconovfr and turn it back into a real petition with just signatures.
